I’m Wilf, a 5-year-old Springer Spaniel Cross, and if you’re looking for a best friend with endless enthusiasm and a heart full of love, I might just be your boy! Life hasn’t always been straightforward for me – I was found as a stray, so I’m still learning what it’s like to have a family of my own. Because of that, I could do with a little help polishing my house training and learning that being left home isn’t so scary. If you build my alone time up slowly and patiently, I’ll do my very best to make you proud. I’m full of beans and absolutely adore playing with my ball – throw it for me and you’ll be my favourite person in the world! Once I’ve had my fun, I’m just as happy soaking up all the fuss and affection you can give me. Sometimes loud noises can make me feel a little worried, but with reassurance and a calm, loving home, I’m already showing that this is something I can overcome. What I really need is someone who understands that confidence takes time to grow. I could even share my home with another friendly, playful dog who enjoys a good game and could show me the ropes. A confident, bouncy canine companion might be just what I need! All I’m asking for is a patient family who’ll see past my little quirks and give me the chance I’ve never really had.
