Willow – 4 year old Female – MEETING BOOKED

Female Β· Puppy Β· 11 months

Meet Willow πŸΎπŸ’• Willow is a 4 year, 11 month old female Terrier cross with a gentle and loving nature. She can be a little nervous at first, but once she begins to trust you, she becomes a fantastic little companion who loves attention and cuddles. Willow has lived with cats before and enjoys playing with them, but when she sees a cat out and about, she can be very alert and may want to chase. She could potentially live with a confident cat or one used to dogs, but slow, careful introductions will be key. Willow would also be fine living with a dog. She hasn’t met many, but when she has seen other dogs she’s been calm and friendly. With slow introductions, she could thrive with another canine companion. A more confident dog might even help bring Willow out of her shell and help her feel more secure. Willow has been around children and has never seemed nervous with them, so she could be a wonderful addition to a family environment. Because Willow gets very anxious when left alone, she would require a home where someone is with her all the time. We will only consider applicants who can provide her with constant companionship and a calm, loving environment. Willow isn’t particularly motivated by toys or food, so any training or encouragement will work best with praise, affection, and positive reinforcement. Sweet, affectionate, and full of love, Willow is looking for a calm and understanding home where she can feel safe and cherished. In return, she will reward her new family with endless affection and loyal companionship πŸ’– Adoption fee: Β£350.

Frequently asked

Adopting Willow – 4 year old Female – MEETING BOOKED, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Willow – 4 year old Female – MEETING BOOKED?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Rain Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Willow – 4 year old Female – MEETING BOOKED on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Willow – 4 year old Female – MEETING BOOKED if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Rain Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Willow – 4 year old Female – MEETING BOOKED already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Willow – 4 year old Female – MEETING BOOKED isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Rain Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Willow – 4 year old Female – MEETING BOOKED and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (the shelter's own language). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
