I was moved to a temporary home and here I am gaining trust in people. I live with two other dogs, I like their presence, they helped me to get used to and gain courage. Before I can befriend a person, I have to trust them. I open up slowly, so I recommend myself only to an experienced and patient home. New people scare me - I curl up and want to hide. When I choose my favorite person, I follow them, seek contact. I allow petting, gently hug, but I don't like to be picked up - someone must have seriously violated my boundaries in the past. At home I am well-behaved and sleep peacefully when the caregiver is away. I don't destroy things and don't vocalize. In a familiar environment I feel safe. A walk in a new environment is a challenge for me - I need a moment to get to know the area and feel safe there. I go out for walks only in anti-flea collars and will also walk in my new home in such collars. I can live with another friendly and balanced dog. Trafiłam do domu tymczasowego i tutaj nabieram zaufania do ludzi. Mieszkam z dwoma innymi psami, lubię ich obecność, to one pozwoliły mi się oswoić i nabrać odwagi. Nim się zaprzyjaźnię z człowiekiem, muszę zaufać. Otwieram się powoli, dlatego polecam się jedynie do domu doświadczonego i cierpliwego. Nowo poznane osoby napawają mnie lękiem – kulę się i chcę schować. Gdy już obiorę sobie mojego ulubionego człowieka, podążam za nim, szukam kontaktu. Pozwalam się głaskać, delikatnie przytulać, ale nie lubię być brana na ręce – w przeszłości ktoś musiał mocno naruszyć moje granice. W domu jestem grzeczna i pod nieobecność opiekunów spokojnie sobie śpię. Nie niszczę rzeczy i nie wokalizuję. W znanym otoczeniu czuję się pewnie. Spacer w nowym otoczeniu to dla mnie wyzwanie – potrzebuję chwili, aby poznać teren i poczuć się na nim bezpiecznie. Na spacery wychodzę wyłącznie w szelkach antyucieczkowych i w takich szelkach będę też chodziła w moim nowym domu. Mogę zamieszkać z innym przyjaznym i zrównoważonym psem.
