Wren

Female · Puppy · 5 months

Could you be my perfect match? Hello! My name is I can live with Dogs Cats Children MY story Wren arrived with us recently from Romania. She has been doing really well in foster and is now ready for her forever home. This is what her foster mum had to say:A little bit about Ren 🐾Ren is an incredibly sweet, affectionate little dog with loads of personality! She's very snuggly and loves human company, but also has lots of confident, playful puppy energy. And of course, there's that adorable little tongue that often pokes out! She's been confident and friendly from day one, showing very little nervousness or hesitation in her new surroundings. She's only met a handful of people so far, but she's absolutely loved everyone! She's also been around children and has been fine with them, although she can be quite excitable, playful and barky, as you'd expect from a young puppy. We've not yet seen how she interacts with other dogs.Training and behaviour: She's made brilliant progress with toilet training and is now reliably going outside. She's also learning quickly and is becoming more responsive to instructions. Crate training is still a work in progress. Some nights she settles straight away, while others she'll bark for a little while before settling. She also tends to bark when left in the crate during the day, although we haven't practised this extensively. She's still very much in the puppy chewing and mouthing stage, and loves exploring everything around her! She can also be quite vocal, particularly when excited or wanting something, so this is something her new family will need to continue working on.Health and general care: She's eating, drinking and toileting really well, and we've noticed no signs of any health concerns. She's had a couple of baths and is still getting used to the experience! She's not particularly keen on staying in the bath, but with some peanut butter and a lick mat, she'll happily tolerate being washed. She's also shown that she can settle beautifully on her own in the evenings and enjoys curling up for a snooze.Overall, Ren is a lovely, confident, affectionate and fun little character. She's full of life, loves being around people and has so much potential. She'll need a home that's happy to continue her puppy training, particularly around barking, chewing and settling when left alone, but she's already made so much progress in a short space of time. She's a really special little dog and will make a wonderful companion. ❤️ MY PERFECT HOME Wren will need a secure garden with 6ft fencing and no gaps at all.As with all puppies on going training will be needed.Wren can live with dogs, cats with carful introductions and children 8+. About Wren

What life with Wren looks like

Wren is a small puppy dog waiting at Angels 4 Dogs Rescue in United Kingdom.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Wren, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Wren?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Angels 4 Dogs Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Wren on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Wren if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Angels 4 Dogs Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Wren already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Wren isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Angels 4 Dogs Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Wren and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
