WSTYDZIOSZEK

Mixed Breed · Male

WSTYDZIOSZEK Wstydioszek is approximately a 7-year-old terrier-type dog weighing around 12 kg. His name is not a coincidence – in shelter conditions, he is very scared and spends most of his time hiding in his kennel, observing the world from a safe distance. He needs time, patience, and most importantly, a calm, stable caregiver whom he can trust. Once he feels safe and opens up to humans, he shows his true nature – he starts wagging his tail, seeks contact, and displays huge reserves of affection. This is a very calm, lovable, and delicate dog who clearly must have had a home at some point. On a leash, he walks perfectly and beautifully cooperates with humans. We do not know his earlier history or his relationship with other dogs and cats. However, we do know that he very much loves people and with the right approach, he can form a special bond. We are looking for a calm, patient home for Wstydioszek that will show him that humans can again be associated with safety and love. Profile: The puppy has received a full set of vaccinations and is generally healthy. He has been neutered and de-wormed. He is microchipped and will be spayed before adoption. We invite you to our animal shelter. If you find a dog that steals your heart, we will help with transportation to a new home within a reasonable distance. Our animal shelter is located in Racławice near Miechów in Małopolskie voivodeship (approximately 40 km from Kraków). All animals from our animal shelter are sterilized or spayed before adoption, and we do not deviate from this practice for medical reasons. We inform you that we do not place animals on a chain or release puppies outside. For adoption inquiries, please contact us by phone. We will be happy to answer your questions: . We do not respond to SMS messages. www.schroniskopsiepole. WSTYDZIOSZEK was brought to the shelter on May 22, 2026, from the Ostrów municipality. We are looking for an owner or a new home. It should be noted that the dog's behavior may change after adoption.

Wstydzioszek Wstydioszek to około 7-letni psiak w typie teriera, ważący około 12 kg. Został odrobaczony i odpchlony. Jest zaczipowany i przed adopcją zostanie wykastrowany. Zapraszamy do naszego schroniska. About WSTYDZIOSZEK

What life with WSTYDZIOSZEK looks like

WSTYDZIOSZEK is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Schronisko Psie Pole in Poland.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting WSTYDZIOSZEK, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about WSTYDZIOSZEK?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Psie Pole handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw WSTYDZIOSZEK on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt WSTYDZIOSZEK if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Psie Pole will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is WSTYDZIOSZEK already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if WSTYDZIOSZEK isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Psie Pole early rather than rehoming privately; they know WSTYDZIOSZEK and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
