XFactor

Rottweiler · Male · Senior · 11 years

XFactor is no longer a puppy, a male Rottweiler mix born around 2015, who was able to escape from Kál thanks to the Füzesabonyi Animal Welfare Foundation. Unfortunately, many dogs in this place are in trouble and are waiting for help. Fortunately, we were able to help more dogs now. XFactor arrived with a bad, old, untreated leg injury, which made him not put weight on his left hind leg, but fortunately, amputation was avoided. Despite the pain, he is a loving, especially kind with people, active and good-natured. We are looking for an owner for XFactor, who can make him forget all the bad things he experienced in his life so far and prove to him that life is beautiful, and he can also be a beloved companion for humans. We only look for a home where he can be a full-fledged family member. We will not give him to a garden. XFactor is vaccinated, microchipped and can be adopted after sterilization.

XFactor már nem tini, kb. 2015. születésű rottweiler keverék kan, aki a Füzesabonyi Állatvédő Alapítványnak köszönhetően menekülhetett Kálból. Sajnos ezen a helyen sok bajba jutott kutya várja a segítséget. About XFactor

What life with XFactor looks like

XFactor is a small senior rottweiler dog waiting at Noé Állatotthon in Budapest.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

Note from the shelter: Previous untreated leg injury, left hind leg affected but amputation was avoided

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting XFactor, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about XFactor?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Noé Állatotthon handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw XFactor on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt XFactor if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Noé Állatotthon will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is XFactor already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if XFactor isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Noé Állatotthon early rather than rehoming privately; they know XFactor and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
