At the same time, she is very eager to learn and finely tuned. She quickly understands what is expected of her and takes great joy in being mentally stimulated and kept busy in everyday life. In training, she works motivated and willingly. Youma’s development is simply wonderful – she makes continuous progress and shows how much potential she has. Youma already attends dog training classes with her foster home and is familiar with training in a structured framework. Additionally, she has been gently accustomed to wearing a muzzle, which can provide additional security in everyday life. Outside of her secure environment, Youma still shows uncertainties towards strangers, other dogs, and unfamiliar things (e.g., umbrellas). Here, she needs clear, sovereign guidance and patient accompaniment to gradually gain more security. An enclosed garden in a rural setting would be ideal for her, so she can move freely and expend energy. Whether as a single princess or with a sovereign second dog – both could be well suited for Youma.
