Zara comes from a cat colony in Rö, where generations of feral cats had lived for years. Several other cat shelters had been there over the years and taken in cats, but that always left a few behind who kept reproducing. We received an alarm about a mother with kittens and asked another cat shelter for help taking them in. A friend of ours went out to help catch them and make sure no other cats remained. It turned out that several cats were still there. The Stockholm cat shelter has taken in most of the cats, and we have promised to take the last three. Zara came to us together with Zia. Zara still needs socialization, and we are giving her the time she needs ❤️ Zara wants to move with her friend/relative Zid to a home where there is a fully tame cat companion who can show them the way. They will probably want to go outside again someday, but that will take a while, since they need to feel completely safe in their new home before going out. However, both of them need to stay at the cat shelter for a while for socialization before they are ready to move. 💕 Zid & Zara ❤️

Zara kommer från en kattkoloni i Rö där generationer av förvildade katter funnits i åratal. Flera andra katthem har varit där genom åren och tagit in katter men det har alltid lämnat några kvar som fortsatt föröka sig. Vi fick ett larm om en mamma med ungar och bad ett annat katthem om hjälp att ta dem. En vän till oss åkte ut för att hjälpa till och fånga samt se att inga andra katter fanns kvar. Det visade sig att det fanns flertalet katter kvar. Stockholms katthem har tagit in merparten av katterna och vi har lovat ta de sista tre. Zara kom in till oss ihop med Zia. Zara behöver fortsatt socialisering och vi ger henne den tid hon behöver ❤️ Zara vill flytta med kompisen/släktingen Zid till ett hem där det finns en helt tam kattkompis som kan visa dem vägen. De vill nog få gå ut igen en dag – men det kommer att dröja då de behöver vara helt trygga i sitt nya hem innan de går ut. De behöver dock båda vara kvar en tid på katthemmet för socialisering innan de är redo för flytt. 💕 Zid & Zara ❤️
