Hi, my name is Zeus. I am a handsome gentleman of 5.5 years old. In my young life I have already experienced a lot. My caretakers can tell you a lot about me. Strangers sometimes scare me, and I sometimes tell this out loud and clearly. I originally come from Romania. At the end of 2020 I came to the Netherlands. In the Netherlands I lived with a foster family for several months. According to my foster mom, I made great progress. At first I found everything very scary, but the other two dogs who also lived there took me everywhere. After a while I was ready for the next step and moved to Dierenopvang Hengelo. At first this was quite a challenge for me, but even now I continue to make great progress. As long as I have a dog companion, I find the world less scary. I am still young and love playing with other dogs. What I am looking for in my new owner is a true dog expert with a lot of patience and a social dog companion; a dog companion is a must. Once I know and trust you, you will have a companion for life. I don't have any experience with children. Because I still have a lot to learn and get used to, I'm looking for a home without children. Despite the fact that I get along well with the dogs at the animal shelter, I still find it very scary when dogs approach me on a walk and I become very nervous. Hoi mijn naam is Zeus. Ik ben een knappe heer van 5,5 jaar jong. In mijn jonge leven heb ik al heel veel mee gemaakt. Mijn verzorgers kunnen hier heel veel over vertellen. Vreemde mensen vind ik maar eng soms vertel ik dit ook luid en duidelijk. Oorspronkelijk kom ik uit Roemenië. Eind 2020 mocht ik naar Nederland. In Nederland heb ik een aantal maanden in een pleeggezin gewoond. Volgens mijn pleegmama maakte ik grote stappen vooruit. In het begin vond ik alles heel erg eng, maar de andere 2 hondjes die daar ook woonde sleepte mij overal door heen. Na een tijdje was ik toe aan een volgende stap en mocht ik naar Dierenopvang Hengelo. In het begin was dit best wel wennen voor mij, maar ook nu maak ik grote stappen vooruit. Zolang ik een hondenmaatje heb vind ik de wereld minder eng. Ik ben nog jong en dol op spelen met andere honden. Wat ik zoek in mijn nieuwe baas is een echte honden kenner met veel geduld en een sociaal hondenmaatje, een hondenmaatje is een must. Als ik je eenmaal ken en vertrouw heb je aan mij een maatje voor het leven. Kinderen heb ik geen ervaring mee. Omdat ik best nog wel veel moet leren en wennen, zoek ik een huis zonder kinderen. Ondanks dat ik het goed kan vinden met de honden bij de dierenopvang, vind ik benaderd worden door honden op een wandeling nog wel erg eng en word ik hier heel nerveus van. Heeft u ervaring met honden die gewend zijn om te vluchten en die veel tijd nodig hebben om te wennen? Neem dan, uitsluitend via de mail, contact op met de verzorgers van de dierenopvang.
