Akita · Male · Adult · 6 years

Ziggy is a gorgeous Akita boy seeking a peaceful home. He can be aloof but loves one-on-one attention and snuggle time. Smart and trainable, he knows tricks and can speak on command. Needs continued training support for dog social skills and car travel confidence. Best suited to homes with older teens only and as a single dog. House training needs minimal refresher. Can be left alone once settled. This gentle giant would make a fabulous family addition for the right adopters.

Please note, Ziggy is on some pain medication which can be discussed in further detail with potential adopters. Ziggy is a gorgeous boy who would love to find a peaceful home to settle in and find his paws. He’s a gorgeous lad who can be aloof at times. He’s very good at letting you know when he’s up for some one-on-one attention and snuggle time, and when he’s ready to relax for a snooze. Adopters who are happy to continue training will be ideal for Ziggy. He’s a real smart floof who enjoys learning new tricks; he even knows to speak! Ziggy would benefit from continued support with doggy social skills and building confidence with car travelling. Ziggy would be best suited to living with older teens and being a single dog. House training should only need a little refresher and, once settled in, he should be fine spending a bit of time home alone.
