Zober *2019 – DRINGEND

Mixed Breed · Female

Country of Origin: Romania Breed: mixed breed Gender: male Color: beige-black shoulder height: ca. 60 cmDate of Birth: ca. 2019Location: Romania Update May 2025: Zober, the cuddly bear with a big heart, is looking for his people. Zober is an absolute people lover and a real cuddle bear. With his warm nature, he greets visitors with joy and enjoys every cuddle. He loves the contact with humans and shows clingy and cuddly behavior. Even with the other dogs in the kennel, Zober generally gets along well. However, he does not want to share the attention of his trusted people and shows a rather assertive behavior towards his kennel mate – he tries to send him back into the house repeatedly. Therefore, loving consequences are needed to show him that closeness and affection are for everyone. He gladly accepts treats – a little gourmet who is happy about positive reinforcement and will surely learn quickly what is expected of him. For Zober, we wish a home with dog-experienced people who appreciate his loving but also assertive nature and give him the necessary orientation with clear, calm guidance. A securely fenced garden and plenty of shared cuddle time would be paradise for this great guy. ———-Update October 2024: Zober showed himself to be very people-friendly and is an absolute cuddle bear. He warmly welcomed us and enjoyed our cuddles to the fullest. He also got along well with the other dogs in the kennel. The treats we brought were also found delicious.———–Update May 2024: The happy-go-lucky dog Zober could not believe that he had visitors. He enjoyed our time together to the fullest and always looked for a hand to pet.———–Update May 2024: The handsome and very friendly Zober greeted us joyfully when we entered the kennel. He greatly enjoyed our attention, especially the cuddles, but even treats were very welcome. Zober lives in a mixed pack. We can also imagine him as a lone prince. Contact: Our dogs are vaccinated (rabies and 2x basic immunization), microchipped, and tested for common Mediterranean diseases: Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, leishmaniasis, rickettsiae, filariasis, hepatozoonosis, anaplasmosis. Testing for these diseases is on us (we cover the lab fees).

About Zober *2019 – DRINGEND

What life with Zober *2019 – DRINGEND looks like

Zober *2019 – DRINGEND is a adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. in Oberwies.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Zober *2019 – DRINGEND, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Zober *2019 – DRINGEND?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Zober *2019 – DRINGEND on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Zober *2019 – DRINGEND if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Zober *2019 – DRINGEND already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Zober *2019 – DRINGEND isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierhilfe Lebenswert e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Zober *2019 – DRINGEND and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
