After the owner's death, a medium-sized black dog Žuks came to the shelter, a dignified age of 13 years! We know this because the dog was microchipped and registered. It is possible that he spent the majority of his life in the countryside, near Rēzekne, and only moved to a flat in Riga in recent years, always staying by his owner's side. We make these assumptions based on the information in the register. Unfortunately, the register does not provide data on whether Zuk has any relatives who would willingly take over the care of this fine dog... A very sincere, kind-hearted hound, who in his youth was certainly a real heartbreaker and activist.

Pēc saimnieka nāves patversmē nonācis vidējā auguma melnītis Žuks, suņopis cienījamā vecumā – 13. gadi! Šo informāciju zinām, jo suns bija čipēts un reģistrēts. Iespējams, mūža lielāko daļu dzīvojis pat laukos, Rēzeknes pusē, vien pēdējos gados uz Rīgas dzīvokli pārcēlies un visu laiku līdzās savam saimniekam. Šos minējumus izsakām, arī vadoties no informācijas reģistrā. Diemžēl, reģistrs nesniedz datus, vai Žukam šajā pasaulē nav kādi radinieki, kuri labprāt pārņemtu feinā suņa aprūpi… Ļoti sirsnīgs, labdabīgs rējējs, kurš jaunībā gan jau ka bija īstens siržulauzējs un aktīvists.
