Lucky for us, I can tell you. It’s not so easy to make it on the streets. One is constantly on the lookout for food and a safe place to sleep… All of that we have here in the shelter. But something is still missing to my great fortune. I wish for people in my life who have a lot of time for me. Who take me by the paw and show me how a life as a full-fledged family member works. I will do my best to make everything right, but please have understanding that I need time to get used to this completely new life. Our dogs travel legally with Traces. As Traces, one refers to the database system with which the entire animal transport within the EU is monitored. The dogs travel neutered (provided they are old enough), vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed, and have an EU passport. Additionally, for dogs over 12 months of age, a rapid test for the following Mediterranean diseases is conducted before travel arrangements: Lyme disease, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichiosis, Dirofilariasis, and leishmaniasis. Aber die Menschen hier sagen, nur so habe ich eine Chance, entdeckt zu werden. Also lasse ich es brav über mich ergehen… Ich bin Zuri und gemeinsam mit meiner Schwester hier im Shelter gelandet. Zum Glück, kann ich euch sagen. Es ist gar nicht so einfach, sich auf der Straße durchzuschlagen. Man ist ständig auf der Suche nach Futter und einem sicheren Schlafplatz… All das haben wir hier im Shelter. Aber etwas fehlt mir noch zu meinem großen Glück. Ich wünsche mir Menschen in meinem Leben, die ganz viel Zeit für mich haben. Die mich an die Pfote nehmen und mir zeigen, wie ein Leben als vollwertiges Familienmitglied so funktioniert. Ich werde mir große Mühe geben, alles gut zu machen aber bitte hab Verständnis, dass ich mich an dieses völlig neue Leben erst einmal gewöhnen muss.
