ZWEI KLASSE

American Staffordshire Terrier · Male · Senior · 9 years

Jack - Am.Staffordshire Terrier Mix, ca. 8 years old, born 2017, 54 cm, 38 kg - We would like to introduce you to Jack, an approximately 8-year-old Staffordshire mix. Jack was rescued from the Crevillente euthanasia center, where he was scheduled for euthanasia if we didn't retrieve him within 5 days. He was previously alone on a finca, where dogs would visit him and he would attack them - probably he wanted to defend the finca. Jack has a history of leishmaniasis, but he had a very low titer. Jack is a bit dominant with food and toys. He loves going for long walks. He doesn't like other males, is possessive about food, and doesn't like cats, but he gets along well with young females. Jack needs a family without children, as they make him nervous and he doesn't like them. His home should be a house with a garden, as he doesn't like being locked up. Otherwise, Jack is a very good dog, he loves going for walks and is a bit stubborn when he wants something and doesn't get it. Due to his past, he is initially nervous around people he doesn't know and needs time to trust them. When he's stressed, he growls, but that's all. He is a dog who needs a loving home and a lot of love. He was locked up for almost 2 years... WHO wants to give JACK a new home !!!!!! - Hugo - Am. Stafford, 8 years old, born ca. 2016, 52 cm, 34 kg, vaccinated, chipped, neutered, EU pass. - Waiting in Spain! - More photos and on request - Hugo was rescued from the Alicante euthanasia center. He was on the verge of being euthanized. He has a difficult past and the poor guy spent years in a cage, locked in a cold cage. Hugo had a severe ear infection, so his ears had to be cut. Since March 2019, he has been at David's shelter. He gets along with people, but is initially very suspicious, especially of men... probably because he was mistreated by a man. Hugo lives with males (if not dominant) and females without problems. He especially likes the company of people. He gets a bit nervous when eating, so it's better to feed him alone or separately. Hugo is a calm dog. He loves going for walks and is very affectionate. Who gives HUGO a home - forever? More photos of all dogs on request!! Update 11.02.2021 - MAMBA, BELLA, ROCKY + NESQUICK have found their homes! - If you want to give JACK or HUGO a home, info and contact: Spanish and English: email:, - or - German email: - (I'm happy to help with language problems). - We grant data release and ask for sharing, also in public media and on Facebook.

- Bild 4+5 - HUGO - Am. Stafford, 8 J, geb.ca.2016, SH 52 cm, 34 kg, geimpft, gechippt, kastriert, EU-Paß. - Wartet in Spanien !

About ZWEI KLASSE

What life with ZWEI KLASSE looks like

ZWEI KLASSE is a senior american staffordshire terrier dog waiting at Tier-Not-Hilfe in Germany.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting ZWEI KLASSE, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about ZWEI KLASSE?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tier-Not-Hilfe handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw ZWEI KLASSE on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt ZWEI KLASSE if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tier-Not-Hilfe will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is ZWEI KLASSE already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if ZWEI KLASSE isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tier-Not-Hilfe early rather than rehoming privately; they know ZWEI KLASSE and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
