Astoria byla nalezena se svým mužským přítelem německým křížencem na Boulevard of Marbella, oba nosili obojky, oba nekastrování. Je možné, že patřili do cikánského tábora nebo jiných typů cestujících skupin lidí. Astoria je veselá, šťastná, dobrodružná a zvědavá dívka a opravdu má ráda lidi. Jakmile uvidí člověka, její ocas nepřestává hýbat. I když se nám zdá, že pravděpodobně v jejich životě nebyly velmi často vedeny na řetězu, Astoria chodí dobře na řetězu a reaguje na váš rytmus a pokyny. Její srst je krásná a její záda jsou rovná, nemá nízké kyčle, stojí a chodí dobře a v současnosti neprokazuje žádné problémy s klouby nebo kyčlemi, což jsou běžné pro štěněta. Astoria má milosrdnou povahu a je podřízená svému mužskému příteli Lennartovi. Mohou být adopovány spolu nebo odděleně a Astoria může být jediný pes v domě (pokud bude mít celoživotní kontakt s psem) nebo může žít s jiným mužským psem, ještě jsme ji neprotestovali s dalšími samičkami, ale nikdy nedělala potíže žádným psům, které míjela. Není to tak, že by byla naučena sedět nebo se soustředit na cvičení, trénink, takže by bylo skvělé, pokud by její budoucí lidská bytost věnovala nějaký čas a úsilí ukázat jí radost z učení nových věcí, tréninku drobných triků, trochu agilite, obedience tréninku. Výška ramen je přibližně 61 cm.

Astoria was found with her male German Shepherd friend on the Boulevard of Marbella, both of them wearing collars, both uncastrated. It is believed that they belonged to a gypsy camp, or other types of travelling groups of people. Astoria is a cheerful, happy, adventurous and curious girl, and she really loves people. As soon as she sees a human, her tail doesn't stop wagging. Even though it seems to us they were probably not walked on leash much in their lives, Astoria walks well on the leash and is responsive to your pace and instructions. Her fur is beautiful and her back is leveled straight, she does not have low hips, she stands and walks well and does not at this point show to have joint or hip issues, which are normally very common for Shepherds. Astoria has a kind nature and she is submissive with her male friend Adolfo. As Adolfo was becoming a bit too dominant with her, and that made Astoria behave in a more hectic manner, then they have been separated in the shelter and we're working with them separately. Around the shelter Astoria is reactive to some dogs passing her buy but at the same time, she is very good in supervised socialisations, and shows positive interest in some specific dogs, so we believe it is a matter of positive socialisation experiences for her, and training to co-exist in a relaxed manner with other dogs passing her, even if the situation might be stressy. Astoria could be either the only dog of a home (if controlled dog contact is provided throughout her life) or she could live together with another balanced, confident male dog. It would be great if her future human would invest some time and effort in showing her the joys of learning new things, training little tricks, a bit of agility, obedience training. Astoria LOVES to jump into the car and get going for an adventure! Her shoulder height is approximately 61cm.
