Shaylu jsme našli, když byla pouhým malým štěňátkem spolu s matkou a sourozenci. Místní je strašně zneužívali a bohužel jedno ze štěňat už bylo zabito. Matka byla zpočátku velmi agresivní, protože se snažila své děti ochránit, ale jakmile jsme jí nasadili vodítko, jako by pochopila, že nám může důvěřovat a že nám může pomoci. Shayla je dodnes v útulku spolu s dvěma bratry a sestrou, se kterou sdílí ohradu. Její matka a ostatní sourozenci byli adoptováni. Shayla je opatrná k cizím lidem a chvíli trvá, než lidem začne důvěřovat, ale jakmile to udělá, je to velmi oplácetelné.

We found Shayla when she was only a tiny puppy along with her mother and siblings. They were being horribly abused by locals and sadly one of the puppies had already been killed. The mother was very aggressive at first as she was trying to protect her babies but once we put the lead on her it was like she knew she could trust us to help. Shayla is still at the shelter today with 2 of her brothers and a sister who she shares a pen with. Her mum and other siblings were adopted. Shayla is wary of strangers and takes her time to trust people but once she does it is very rewarding.
