Shaylę znaleźliśmy, gdy była jeszcze malutkim szczeniakiem wraz z matką i braćmi. Byli okropnie maltretowani przez miejscowych, a niestety jeden ze szczeniąt już został zabity. Początkowo matka była bardzo agresywna, ponieważ próbowała chronić swoje dzieci, ale kiedy tylko założyliśmy jej smycz, wydawało się, że zrozumiała, że może nam zaufać i pozwolić nam pomóc. Shayla nadal przebywa w schronisku wraz z dwójką swoich braci i siostrą, z którą dzieli zagrodę. Jej mama oraz inni rodzeństwo zostali adoptowani. Shayla jest ostrożna wobec obcych i potrzebuje czasu, by zaufać ludziom, ale kiedy już to robi, jest to naprawdę satysfakcjonujące.

We found Shayla when she was only a tiny puppy along with her mother and siblings. They were being horribly abused by locals and sadly one of the puppies had already been killed. The mother was very aggressive at first as she was trying to protect her babies but once we put the lead on her it was like she knew she could trust us to help. Shayla is still at the shelter today with 2 of her brothers and a sister who she shares a pen with. Her mum and other siblings were adopted. Shayla is wary of strangers and takes her time to trust people but once she does it is very rewarding.
