Abbiamo trovato Shayla quando era solo un cucciolo minuscolo, insieme a sua madre e ai suoi fratelli. Venivano crudelmente maltrattati da persone del posto e purtroppo uno dei cuccioli era già stato ucciso. La madre inizialmente era molto aggressiva, perché cercava di proteggere i suoi piccoli, ma appena le abbiamo messo il guinzaglio è stato come se capisse di potersi fidare di noi per essere aiutata. Shayla è ancora al rifugio oggi, con 2 dei suoi fratelli e una sorella con cui condivide il recinto. Sua madre e gli altri fratelli sono stati adottati. Shayla diffida degli estranei e si prende il suo tempo per fidarsi delle persone, ma una volta che lo fa, è davvero gratificante.

We found Shayla when she was only a tiny puppy along with her mother and siblings. They were being horribly abused by locals and sadly one of the puppies had already been killed. The mother was very aggressive at first as she was trying to protect her babies but once we put the lead on her it was like she knew she could trust us to help. Shayla is still at the shelter today with 2 of her brothers and a sister who she shares a pen with. Her mum and other siblings were adopted. Shayla is wary of strangers and takes her time to trust people but once she does it is very rewarding.
