La encontramos cuando era solo una perrita pequeña junto con su madre y sus hermanos. Eran maltratados por los locales y lamentablemente uno de los cachorros ya había sido matado. La madre era muy agresiva al principio ya que trataba de proteger a sus crías pero una vez que le pusimos el arnés fue como si supiera que podía confiar en nosotros para ayudarla. Shayla aún está en el refugio hoy en día con 2 de sus hermanos y una hermana con quienes comparte una jaula. Su mamá y otros hermanos fueron adoptados. Shayla es desconfiada con extraños y tarda en confiar en la gente pero una vez que lo hace es muy gratificante.

We found Shayla when she was only a tiny puppy along with her mother and siblings. They were being horribly abused by locals and sadly one of the puppies had already been killed. The mother was very aggressive at first as she was trying to protect her babies but once we put the lead on her it was like she knew she could trust us to help. Shayla is still at the shelter today with 2 of her brothers and a sister who she shares a pen with. Her mum and other siblings were adopted. Shayla is wary of strangers and takes her time to trust people but once she does it is very rewarding.
