Adopter Glitter

Glitter has come to us from a breeder and is now searching for her forever home. She is a very sweet girl who is a little overwhelmed to find herself in new surroundings, but she is already enjoying a gentle fuss and absolutely loves a tummy tickle. Glitter absolutely loves humans and is at her happiest when she’s sat on our laps having big snuggles. Glitter shares her kennel here with other dogs, but, she does tend to show guarding behaviours when other dogs come over to have some affection too. Because of this, we think she’d prefer to live as an only dog so she wouldn’t need to share her humans She would be best suited to a calm and quiet home, where she can get lots of love while she settles in at her own pace. We would consider homing her with gentle dog savvy teenagers or older children. She has never lived in a home before, so Glitter will need patient and understanding adopters who can help her learn all about home life and new skills such as house training and other day to day routines. She has started learning how to walk on a lead, but may need some practice in her new garden before venturing out into the big world! With kindness, reassurance and plenty of love, we feel she will soon start to settle in. Glitter is a lovely girl who just needs a chance, and we can’t wait to see her flourish in a loving forever home. She is a little overweight at the moment, but with a good diet and gentle exercise, she should start to shed the excess. She has had three teeth extracted.
