Adottare Glitter
Dachshund · Femmina · Adulto · 8 anni

I would like a home filled with love and kindness! I’d like to be the only dog in the home. I haven’t met cats I would like a secure garden to spend time in. I'm new to lead walking and need some practice! I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training. I have had 3 teeth extracted at the time of my spay. Glitter has come to us from a breeder and is now searching for her forever home. She is the sweetest girl and it's so hard to believe that she's still waiting to find her forever home! She is a beautiful girl and her personality is even more beautiful. She’s the type of dog that lights up every room she walks into, and every staff member at the rescue loves her very much. You could say she’s a bit of a celebrity around here! She loves greeting everyone and saying hello to them and we think she is going to absolutely love being somones special girl. Glitter absolutely loves humans and is at her happiest when she’s sat on our laps having big snuggles and will even fall asleep with her little head resting gently on you. Glitter shares her kennel here with other dogs, but, she can show some guarding behaviours when other dogs come over to have some affection too. Because of this, we think she’d prefer to live as an only dog so she wouldn’t need to share her humans and can have all the love and attention for herself. We would consider homing her with gentle dog savvy teenagers or older children. She has never lived in a home before, so Glitter will need patient and understanding adopters who can help her learn all about home life and new skills such as house training and other day to day routines. She has started learning how to walk on a lead, but may need some practice in her new garden before venturing out into the big world! With kindness, reassurance and plenty of love, we feel she will soon start to settle in. Glitter is a lovely girl who just needs a chance, and we can’t wait to see her flourish in a loving forever home. She is a little overweight at the moment, but with a good diet and gentle exercise, she should start to shed the excess. She has had three teeth extracted. Glitter has been given the Gift of Life by Carolina Olsen I cannot believe Glitter is still waiting at the rescue for her forever home. I thought she would have been snapped up straight away!!!! Just look at her beautiful face. And her personality is even more beautiful. She’s the type of dog that lights up every room she walks into, and every staff member at the rescue loves her very much. You could say she’s a bit of a celebrity around here.. when I walk her around, everyone stops to say hello to her and she loves it!! She is such a little darling and she really is being wasted in kennels. I can only imagine how much she’s going to love home life. Last week I took her into our on-site cabin which is like a home environment. She got up onto the sofa with me straight away and snuggled in so closely. She ended up falling asleep with her head rested on my lap and I felt so bad that I eventually had to wake her and put her back in her kennel. If you’re looking for a little best friend and a loving, loyal companion who will be the light of your life, please consider this precious girl. She deserves to be absolutely cherished because I can promise you that she will return the love ten fold. Please just give her a chance!
