Ενημέρωση 20.3.2026: οπότε της πακετάραμε τα πράγματα και ξεκινήσαμε για ένα πολύ μακρινό μέρος της Κρήτης. Για την Irma, θα κάναμε ό,τι ήθελε! Το έλεγχο στο σπίτι δεν πέρασε τη δοκιμασία, οπότε την ξαναφέραμε μαζί μας. Περάσαμε πολλές ώρες μαζί της εκείνη την ημέρα και μάθαμε πολλά από αυτήν. Παρατηρείτε, η Irma ήταν μια μηχανή για την αναπαραγωγή, χρησιμοποιούμενη για τίποτα περισσότερο από την παραγωγή άλλων Dobermans. Είναι ένα φοβισμένο σκυλί με πολλά προκαλούμενα πράγματα που την οδηγούσαν σε θυμό, προσπαθώντας να καταβάλει το ίδιο της το ουρά. Στο καταφύγιο της το έχασαμε υπό έλεγχο. Εκείνη την ημέρα εκτός από το καταφύγιο της ένιωσε την αυτοκινητοταξία, ένιωσε τον τρόπο ενός σπιτιού, ήταν τόσο ενδιαφέροντας για την περιπλάνηση από το χωριό και έδειξε μια πολύ ήρεμη και συνδεδεμένη πλευρά της. Κάτι που δεν είχαμε την ευκαιρία να εμπειριοδωρήσουμε στο καταφύγιο. Απεχαράστηκε όμως η άτομο που ενδιαφερόταν δεν ήταν ταίριασμα για αυτήν. Οι λεπτές της προβληματικότητες δεν ήταν προτεραιότητα για αυτούς, οπότε της αρνηθήκαμε την αδοπτική. Αλλά έσπασε την καρδιά μας να την φέρουμε πίσω στο σπίτι. Η Irma είναι μια φιλική γηρασμένη κορίτσι που πονεί πραγματικά στο καταφύγιο. Ένιωσε το περιπολικό της εκείνη την ημέρα και ευχόμαστε να βρει έναν ήρεμο άνθρωπο, ο οποίος θα την ακούσει και θα της ικανοποιήσει τις ανάγκες. Λατρεύει να παίζει μπάλα και αγαπά τις τροφές της, φυσικά. Αν νομίζετε ότι μπορείτε να είστε το άτομό της, παρακαλώ συμπληρώστε μια αίτηση. Ευχαριστούμε! Ενημέρωση 26.06.2024: Η Irma είναι ένα καθαρό φυλετικό Doberman, γεννημένο τον Νοέμβριο του 2016. Η ιστορία της: Βρέθηκε στο Μαλαξά την άνοιξη, τρέχοντας σε θερμοκρασία 35 βαθμών με θερμικό σοκ. Φαίνεται ότι χρησιμοποιήθηκε για την αναπαραγωγή ανθρώπων και όταν πήραν μια νέα γυναίκα για να την αντικαταστήσει, την πετάχτηκαν. Έχει ορχιστεί από τότε. Η Irma έχει leishmania. Είναι φυσικό, λαμβάνει τα φάρμακά της. Εδώ μπορείτε να διαβάσετε για την Leishmania. Αυτή η ασθένεια μεταδίδεται μόνο με τη βοήθεια ενός τριχοκόπαδου. Η Irma έχει επίσης ένα πρόβλημα ανησυχίας, όπου τρέχει πίσω της και βρυχάται, αλλά εργαζόμαστε σε αυτό με φυσικά μέσα. Δεν είναι επιθετική προς ανθρώπους. Τους αγαπά και την προσοχή τους! Gender: female Birthday: November 2016 Castrated/Neutered: yes Weight: 27kg Back story: Irma was found on the street in 2022, extremely exhausted from the heat. Description/Updates/Pictures: Update March 2026: The other day we thought we had a home for Irma… so we packed her bags and set off for a very distant part of Crete. For Irma, we would do anything! The housecheck did not pass the test so we had to bring her back with us. We spent many hours together that day and learned a lot from her. You see Irma was a breeding machine, used for nothing more than producing other Dobermans. She is a nervous dog with many triggers which would send her into a frenzy, attempting to bite her tail. At the shelter we had gotten that habit under control. That day out from the shelter she enjoyed the car ride, she loved the feel of a home, she was so interested in walking through the village and she showed a very gentle and connected side of herself. Something we had not had the chance to experience at the shelter. Unfortunately, the person interested was not a match for her. Her delicate issues were not a priority to them so we had to deny the adoption. But it broke our hearts bringing her back home. Irma is a kind senior girl who truly suffers at the shelter. She loved her getaway that day and we wish she will find a gentle human who will listen and cater to her needs. She loves to play ball and loves her treats, of course. If you feel you might be her person, please fill out an application. Update June 2024: She was found up in Malaxa this summer, running in 35 degree weather with heat exhaustion. It seems that she was used for breeding babies and when they got a new female to replace her, she was thrown out. She has been neutered since. Irma has leishmania. Of course, she gets her medication. Irma also has an anxiety issue where she chases her bum and growls but we are working on that with natural remedies. She is not aggressive towards humans. She loves them and their attention! SHE LOVES HER BALL. She never had a chance to be a puppy, and so she is giving us puppy now, so cute! She is a bit awkward when it comes to cuddles but she loves it! Poor thing never had cuddles before. Adopt this beautiful creature today. Irma will warm your heart at least once a day with her new discoveries and character.
