Bentley llegó a nuestro cuidado después de haber sido trasladado a nosotros desde otro centro. Lamentablemente no sabemos mucho sobre su vida pasada antes de llegar a nuestro cuidado, pero desde que está con nosotros ha mostrado ser un chico cariñoso y juguetón que ama estar en compañía de sus humanos favoritos y correr por nuestro campo con sus juguetes. Es un chico inteligente en su etapa de adolescencia, por lo que también beneficiará de un hogar activo que le ofrezca la estimulación física y mental que necesita, junto con algún entrenamiento básico adicional para guiarlo a convertirse en un perro bien educado y seguro. Ha mostrado que puede sentirse abrumado en ocasiones, por lo que necesita dueños dispuestos a tomar las cosas a su ritmo y ser pacientes con él. Este pobre chico no tuvo un buen comienzo en la vida, habiendo pasado la mitad de su corta vida en jaulas ya. Esto ha tenido un gran impacto en su ansiedad por la separación y, por lo tanto, busca un hogar donde al menos un miembro de la familia esté en casa todo el tiempo, quien pueda enseñarle gradualmente que es aceptable estar solo por períodos cortos. A veces carece de modales con otros perros, por lo que beneficiará de un hogar que pueda proporcionarle más socialización una vez que se haya adaptado a su nuevo hogar. Por esta razón creemos que es más adecuado que sea el único perro del hogar, así como su deseo de recibir toda la atención por sí mismo. Bentley siempre está feliz de verte y te dará la bienvenida con una sacudida de cuerpo y cola completa. Bentley came into our care after he was transferred to us from another centre. We sadly do not know much about his past life before arriving into our care, but since being with us he has shown to be an affectionate, playful boy who loves being in the company of his favourite humans and zooming around our field with his toys. He is a clever boy in his adolescent era so will also benefit from an active home that can provide him with the physical and mental stimulation he needs, alongside some further basic training to guide him in becoming a well mannered, confident dog. He has shown that he can get overwhelmed at times so needs owners who are willing to take things at his pace and be patient with him. This poor boy hasn’t had a good start in life, having spent half of his short life in kennels already. This has taken a big toll of his separation related anxiety and is therefore looking for a home that has at least one family member at home all the time, who can gradually teach him its okay to be left for short periods. He can sometimes lack manners around other dogs so will benefit from a home that can provide further socialising once he has settled into his new home. For this reason we feel he is better suited to be the only dog in the home, as well as his want to have all the attention to himself! Bentley is always happy to see you and will greet you with a full body and tail wag. He will make a great addition to the home and will provide you loyalty, fun and affection in return.
