Originalmente rescatada como perra en un vertedero en Macedonia junto con sus ocho hermanos, Cleo ahora anhela ser el punto focal en una casa donde tenga espacio para estirar las patas y jugar. Pasó casi un año en una casa pero fue devuelta debido a que tenia dificultades con el ambiente bullicioso; los numerosos niños, los perros residentes y los altos niveles de ruido la estresaban y le hacía difícil adaptarse. Ahora está floreciendo en el entorno más tranquilo de nuestras jaulas. Queremos reemplazarla localmente para poder continuar brindando apoyo a sus adoptantes. Una dama con piernas largas y una figura ágil, ella disfruta de sus carreras diarias en nuestro campo seguro. Esperamos encontrarle una casa con un jardín cercado donde pueda soltarse. Su alta energía e inteligencia significan que se especializaría con entrenamiento y participación uno a uno. Joven y llena de potencial, Cleo sería un excelente perro de agilidad y ya domina los comandos básicos, ofreciendo su pata con entusiasmo para recibir un delicioso premio. Es muy motivada por la comida pero también ama sus juguetes, un viejo balón de fútbol es perfecto para jugar a atrapar y tirar, lo cual es una gran forma de liberar parte de su exceso de energía antes de un paseo. Cleo tiende a emocionarse al inicio de sus paseos, probablemente porque está encantada de estar fuera. A medida que se acostumbre a su nueva rutina en casa, los paseos se convertirán en parte regular de su día, ayudándola a mantenerse tranquila y compuesta. Después de calmarse, es genial en un paseo, usando una correa y un arnés. Está contenta ignorando a otros perros, interactúa bien cuando es necesario, pero prefiere mucho su espacio personal. Por esta razón, creemos que sería mejor que sea el único perro en la casa. ¡Confíen en nosotros, tiene mucho amor para compartir! Es querida por sus cuidadores y tiene muchos caprichos que siempre nos divierten. Si cree que no le está dando la atención que merece, ella empujara sus manos con su pata hasta que esté satisfecha. A veces, después de una racha de "zoomies", sus orejas caídas no pueden decidir dónde quieren estar, dejándola con una oreja hacia abajo y la otra hilariosamente hacia arriba. Cleo tuvo la oportunidad de conocer a algunos animales recientemente y lo hizo muy bien. Es curiosa con los gatos y disfruta de un buen olfateo pero no muestra ninguna agresión. También conoció gallinas y pavo reyes y se mantuvo contenta olfateando sin mostrar ningún instinto de caza. Cleo prospera con una dieta de comida cruda, lo cual ha sido fantástico para su salud y mantenerla en excelentes condiciones. Esperamos que su nueva familia continúe con esta dieta. Si piensa que se parece mucho a Little Fred, otro de nuestros perros, tiene razón: son hermanos de camada. Sus disposiciones alegres similares son solo una de las muchas características que comparten. Ha dado negativo en brucelosis, leishmaniosis y ha pasado su prueba Snap 4D que prueba contra parásitos como el corazón, ehrlichia y anaplasma. Una chica saludable y feliz.

Originally rescued as a puppy from a rubbish dump in Macedonia along with her eight siblings, Cleo now longs to be the focal point in a home where she has the space to stretch her legs and play. She spent almost a year in a home but was returned due to her struggling with the bustling environment; the numerous children, resident dogs, and high noise levels caused her stress and made it difficult for her to adjust. She is now flourishing in the more tranquil environment of our kennels. We would like to rehome her locally so that we can continue to provide support to her adopters. A lady with long legs and an agile build, she cherishes her daily sprints across our secure field. We hope to find her a home with an enclosed garden where she can let loose. Her high energy and intelligence mean she would excel with one-to-one training and engagement. Young and brimming with potential, Cleo would make an excellent agility dog and has already mastered the basic commands, eagerly offering her paw for a delicious treat. She is very food motivated but also loves her toys, an old football is perfect for her to play fetch and tug-of-war with, this is a great way to get some of her excess energy out before a walk. Cleo tends to get excited at the start of her walks, probably because she is thrilled to be out and about. As she gets used to her new home routine, walks will become a regular part of her day, helping her stay calm and composed. After she calms down, she's great on a walk, using a harness and slip lead. She's content to ignore other dogs, interacts nicely when it's called for, but much prefers her personal space. Because of this, we believe she would do best as the only dog in a household. Trust us, she has plenty of love to share! She's adored by her caregivers and has many quirks that always keep us amused. If she thinks you're not giving her the attention she deserves, she'll nudge your hands with her paw until she's content. Sometimes, after a bout of zoomies, her floppy ears can't quite figure out where they want to be, leaving her with one ear down and the other hilariously flipped up. Cleo recently had a chance to meet some animals, and she did great! She's curious about cats and enjoys a good sniff but doesn't show any aggression. She also encountered chickens and peacocks and was content to just sniff around without displaying any hunting instincts. Cleo thrives on a raw food diet, which has been fantastic for her health and keeping her in great shape. We hope her new family will continue this diet. If you think she looks a lot like Little Fred, another one of our dogs, you're right—they're littermates! Their similar cheerful dispositions are just one of the many traits they share. She has tested negative for brucellosis, leishmaniasis and has passed her Snap 4D test which tests for heartworm, ehrlichia and anaplasma. A healthy, happy girl.
