Actualmente está en un hogar con otro perro con quien se lleva muy bien; necesitará vivir con otro perro en su nuevo hogar, ya que tiene dificultades para estar sola sin compañía canina. Fern le gusta jugar fuerte y también le encanta acurrucarse con otros perros para dormir, así que los perros residentes deben estar cómodos con esto. Fern ha estado pasando tiempo con niños a partir de los 6 años y se ha portado muy bien con ellos, pero es una perra saltarina y sería demasiado para niños muy pequeños. Camina bien con correa y tiene buen control fuera de la correa en zonas seguras, siempre que no haya conejos o ardillas, ya que tiene un alto instinto de caza. Como es una perra joven, tiene mucha energía y sería adecuada para una familia bastante activa. Debe vivir con otro perro. Puede vivir con niños razonables de 6 años en adelante que estén acostumbrados a los perros, tras las presentaciones. No puede vivir con gatos ni roedores pequeños. Necesita un jardín suficientemente grande y seguro para correr y jugar con seguridad. Puede quedarse sola por periodos cortos con la compañía de otro perro. Fern is a small-medium sized lurcher girl of around 8-9 months old, looking for her forever home after a difficult start in life. Fern is a sweet, affectionate dog who thrives on human company. She's also a big fan of other dogs, and enjoys making new friends! She is currently staying in a home with another dog, who she gets along brilliantly with; she will need to live with another dog in her new home, as she struggles with being left alone without canine company. Fern does like to play rough, and also loves to cuddle up with other dogs to sleep, so any resident dogs must be comfortable with this! Fern has been spending time with children from age 6+ and has been very good with them, but she is a bouncy girl and would be too much for very small kids. She walks well on the lead and has good recall off-lead in safe areas – as long as there are no rabbits or squirrels about, since she has a very high prey drive! Being a young dog, Fern has plenty of energy and would suit a fairly active family. Must live with another dog. Can live with sensible children 6+ who are used to dogs, pending introductions. Cannot live with cats or small furries. Needs a decent-sized, secure garden to run and play safely. Can be left alone for short periods with the company of another dog. Needs a decent amount of exercise and plenty of attention.
