Fern est une jeune chienne de type lurcher de taille moyenne à petite, d'environ 8 à 9 mois, qui cherche son foyer pour toujours après un début de vie difficile. Fern est une chienne douce et affectueuse qui adore la compagnie humaine. Elle est aussi une grande fan d'autres chiens et aime faire de nouveaux amis ! Elle est actuellement en résidence dans une maison avec un autre chien avec lequel elle s'entend très bien ; elle aura besoin de vivre avec un autre chien dans sa nouvelle maison, car elle a du mal à être seule sans compagnie canine. Fern aime jouer fort et adore se blottir avec d'autres chiens pour dormir, donc les chiens déjà présents doivent être à l'aise avec cela ! Fern a passé du temps avec des enfants à partir de 6 ans et s'est très bien comportée avec eux, mais elle est une fille dynamique et serait trop agitée pour les tout petits enfants. Elle marche bien en laisse et a un bon rappel hors laisse dans des endroits sûrs – à condition qu'il n'y ait pas de lapins ou de écureuils, car elle a un très fort instinct de prédation ! Étant jeune, Fern a beaucoup d'énergie et convient à une famille assez active. Doit vivre avec un autre chien. Peut vivre avec des enfants sensés de 6 ans et plus qui sont habitués aux chiens, après des présentations. Ne peut pas vivre avec des chats ou des petits rongeurs. A besoin d'un jardin suffisamment grand et sécurisé pour courir et jouer en toute sécurité. Peut être laissée seule pendant de courts moments avec la compagnie d'un autre chien. A besoin d'une bonne quantité d'exercice et de beaucoup d'attention.

Fern is a small-medium sized lurcher girl of around 8-9 months old, looking for her forever home after a difficult start in life. Fern is a sweet, affectionate dog who thrives on human company. She's also a big fan of other dogs, and enjoys making new friends! She is currently staying in a home with another dog, who she gets along brilliantly with; she will need to live with another dog in her new home, as she struggles with being left alone without canine company. Fern does like to play rough, and also loves to cuddle up with other dogs to sleep, so any resident dogs must be comfortable with this! Fern has been spending time with children from age 6+ and has been very good with them, but she is a bouncy girl and would be too much for very small kids. She walks well on the lead and has good recall off-lead in safe areas – as long as there are no rabbits or squirrels about, since she has a very high prey drive! Being a young dog, Fern has plenty of energy and would suit a fairly active family. Must live with another dog. Can live with sensible children 6+ who are used to dogs, pending introductions. Cannot live with cats or small furries. Needs a decent-sized, secure garden to run and play safely. Can be left alone for short periods with the company of another dog. Needs a decent amount of exercise and plenty of attention.
