Salsa, Nacho y Cheese son un trio de ardillas muy perezosas!! Fueron trasladados al Bristol Animal Rescue Centre desde otra sucursal de la RSPCA. Les gustó vivir la vida de Bristol! Estos adorables chicos pasan la mayor parte del día durmiendo y acurrucándose en la cama juntos. Debido a que este trio es bastante perezoso; estamos tratando actualmente de ayudarlos a estar un poco más entusiasmados y activos durante el tiempo de juego. Siempre han sido bastante dóciles desde que llegaron al centro y durante los primeros días, Salsa, siendo el más picante, mordisqueaba jugando, pero ahora todos son buenos para manipularlos. Pueden ser un poco inquietos y muy buenos poniéndoles las correas. Llegaron al Bristol ARC habiendo sido entrenados con arnés. Estamos logrando sacar a Salsa y Nacho para caminatas cortas regulares ahora para ayudarles a perder peso. Aún pueden ser un poco nerviosos al salir a caminar en entornos nuevos, pero se acostumbran pronto una vez que saben dónde están. Cheese tuvo que tener uno de sus ojos retirado desde que llegó con nosotros. Aún está aprendiendo a no chocar contra todo y está un poco desentrenado en caminar con arnés, una vez que se recupere completamente estará muy entusiasmado por comenzar a salir y explorar con sus hermanos nuevamente. Los chicos acostumbrados a vivir juntos necesitan ser reubicados como un trio y posiblemente puedan ser adoptados en un hogar con ardillas existentes. Están acostumbrados a vivir en interiores, así que buscamos un hogar donde tendrán espacio para explorar fuera de su jaula y ayudarles a intentar mantenerse en forma y activos! Salsa, Nacho and Cheese are an adorable bonded trio of rather chilled ferrets, they arrived into our care as a transfer from another RSPCA branch in the hope that Bristol is going to provide them with their forever home .These adorable boys spend most of their day snoozing and cuddling up in bed together. Due to this trio being quite lazy; we are currently trying to help them get a bit more excited and active at play time. They have always been quite docile since arriving at the centre and for the first few days, Salsa, being the spicy one, would nip in play but they are all now good for handling. They arrived at Bristol ARC harness trained which means Salsa and Nacho go out for regular short walks now to help them with their weight loss. They can still be a little nervous when going out for walks in new environments but they soon get used to it once they know where they are. Cheese sadly had to have one of his eyes removed since arriving with us. He is still learning how not to bump into everything and is a little out of practice with harness walking, once he is fully recovered he will be very excited to start going out and exploring with his brothers again. The bonded boys need to be rehomed as a trio and could possibly be adopted to a home with existing ferrets. They are used to living inside so we are looking for a home where they will have space to explore outside of their cage and help them try to keep fit and active!
