Salsa, Nacho et Cheese sont un trio de furets très paresseux ! Ils ont été transférés au Bristol Animal Rescue Centre depuis une autre branche de la RSPCA. Ils ont aimé la vie à Bristol ! Ces charmants garçons passent la majeure partie de leur journée à dormir et à se blottir dans le lit ensemble. En raison de leur paresse, nous essayons actuellement de les rendre un peu plus enthousiastes et actifs pendant les moments de jeu. Ils ont toujours été assez calmes depuis leur arrivée au centre et, pendant les premiers jours, Salsa, étant le plus épicé, mordillait par jeu, mais ils sont maintenant tous correctement maniables. Ils peuvent être un peu agités et très doués pour mettre leurs harnais. Ils sont arrivés au Bristol ARC ayant déjà été dressés avec un harnais. Nous arrivons à sortir Salsa et Nacho pour des promenades courtes régulières afin de les aider à perdre du poids. Ils peuvent encore être un peu nerveux lorsqu'ils sortent dans des environnements nouveaux, mais ils s'y habituent rapidement une fois qu'ils savent où ils sont. Cheese a dû avoir un de ses yeux retiré depuis son arrivée chez nous. Il apprend encore à ne pas heurter tout et est un peu déshabitué à la marche avec harnais, une fois pleinement rétabli, il sera très excité de reprendre les promenades et les explorations avec ses frères. Les garçons liés doivent être réhabilités en tant que trio et pourraient être adoptés dans un foyer qui possède déjà des furets. Ils sont habitués à vivre à l'intérieur, nous recherchons donc un foyer où ils auront l'espace pour explorer en dehors de leur cage et les aider à rester en forme ! Salsa, Nacho and Cheese are an adorable bonded trio of rather chilled ferrets, they arrived into our care as a transfer from another RSPCA branch in the hope that Bristol is going to provide them with their forever home .These adorable boys spend most of their day snoozing and cuddling up in bed together. Due to this trio being quite lazy; we are currently trying to help them get a bit more excited and active at play time. They have always been quite docile since arriving at the centre and for the first few days, Salsa, being the spicy one, would nip in play but they are all now good for handling. They arrived at Bristol ARC harness trained which means Salsa and Nacho go out for regular short walks now to help them with their weight loss. They can still be a little nervous when going out for walks in new environments but they soon get used to it once they know where they are. Cheese sadly had to have one of his eyes removed since arriving with us. He is still learning how not to bump into everything and is a little out of practice with harness walking, once he is fully recovered he will be very excited to start going out and exploring with his brothers again. The bonded boys need to be rehomed as a trio and could possibly be adopted to a home with existing ferrets. They are used to living inside so we are looking for a home where they will have space to explore outside of their cage and help them try to keep fit and active!
