Hola, mi nombre es Parry. Soy el Eclectus más inteligente que podrías conocer! Me quedo contigo todo el día y adoro la compañía! Adoro a las damas, soy un hombre de damas! Pero estaré feliz con cualquiera siempre que se quede y hable conmigo. Historia/Fondo: Fui adoptado por Problem Parrots hace muchos años, pero debido a un cambio de circunstancias he tenido que regresar a la organización benéfica. Presentación actual: Me estreso si me dejan mucho, así que necesitaría a alguien que esté en casa la mayor parte del día, para que pueda pasar la mayor parte del tiempo fuera de mi jaula. Tengo pluma, y aún lo hago un poco, ya que se ha convertido en un hábito. Así que soy un poco un pollo desnudo! Mi pluma disminuye cuando tengo compañía y estoy fuera de la jaula con ustedes. Tengo una vocalización fantástica y puedo decir muchas palabras claramente. A veces tengo momentos ruidosos y grito si quiero que me escuchen. A veces grito en mi canción nativa y otras veces grito Mammy. Puedo besar y decir "Te quiero Parry". Sé mi nombre muy bien. Me encanta andar y estar con ustedes. No me gusta que me toquen la cabeza, pero estaré feliz simplemente sentado con ustedes. Subiré para cualquiera, siempre que sea seguro. Puedo llorar como un bebé y graznar como un pato. Amo mis juguetes y vendré a mi nueva casa con ellos. No me gusta ducharme, pero me gusta bañarme en mi tazón de agua en la jaula o en un tazón de agua. He visto gatos desde mi jaula y no me molestan siempre que no se acerquen a mi jaula. Tampoco me importan los niños, siempre que no me pinchen! He estado en el aviario para recibir sol, y me encanta esto! No me importan otros pájaros grandes, pero quizás solo uno o dos, por favor, ya que me gusta que mi tiempo fuera de la jaula sea con ustedes! Alimentación: Soy un eclectus, así que mi dieta consiste principalmente en frutas y verduras, especialmente frutas exóticas y semillas germinadas. Me encanta el maracuyá, fresas, moras y higos también! Me gusta una hoja de espinaca ocasionalmente entera y también me gustan las hierbas! También tengo una pequeña cantidad de Tidymix y alimento Harrisons. Mis dulces favoritos son nueces! Resumen: Así que mi mamá de refugio dice que éste es el difícil. Ella me adora y me muestra mucho amor. Ella desea que pueda quedarme, pero también sabe que necesito más tiempo con mi persona, y ella va a este lugar llamado trabajo, mucho más de lo que me gustaría! Así que dice que sería egoísta mantenerme, y necesito encontrar a MI persona, quien pueda estar conmigo muchísimo y darme todo el amor que merezco! (Sé que ella es suave, verdad!) Luego, espero que mis plumas comiencen a verse mucho mejor también. Olvidé decir que una vez estaba entrenado para hacer caca, así que posiblemente podamos revisarlo! Hiya, My name is Parry. I'm the cleverest Eclectus you could ever meet! I will sit with you all day and I absolutely love company! I love the ladies, I'm a ladies man! But will be happy with anyone so long as they stay and talk to me. History/Background: I was adopted by Problem Parrots many years ago, but due to a change of circumstances I have had to return to the charity. Current Presentation: I get stressed if I get left a lot, so I'd need someone who is home most of the day, so I can spend the majority of time out of my cage. I have plucked, and still do this a little, as it has become a habit. So I'm a bit of a naked chicken! My plucking is reduced when I have company and am out of the cage with you though. I have the most fantastic vocals and can say many words clearly. I do have very noisy moments and will shout if I want you. Sometimes I shout in my native song and sometimes I shout Mammy. I can blow kisses and say ‘Love you Parry' also. I know my name very well. I love to wander about and be with you. I don't like head scratches, but will happily just sit with you. I will step up for anyone, as long as you are confident. I can cry like a baby and quack like duck. I love my toys and will come to my new home with these. I am not keen on a shower, but I like to bathe in my water bowl in the cage or in a bowl of water. I have seen cats from my cage and they do not bother me as long as they do not approach my cage. I don't mind children either, as long as they don't poke at me! I have been in the aviary for some sunshine, and I love this! I don't mind other big birds but maybe only one or two please as I like my time out of the cage to be with you! Diet: I am an eclectus so my diet mainly consists of fruit and vegetables, especially exotic fruit and sprouting seeds. I love passion fruit, strawberries, blueberries and figs too! I like the odd spinach leaf whole and I like herbs too! I also have a small amount of Tidymix and Harrisons pellets. My favourite treats are walnuts! Summary: So, my safe-house mum says this is the hard bit. She absolutely adores me and showers me with love. She wishes I could stay, but also knows that I need more time with my person, and she goes to this thing called work, a lot more than I'd like! So she says it would be selfish to keep me, and I need to find MY person, who can be with me lots and lots and give me all the love I deserve! (I know she's soft right!) Then hopefully my feathers will start to look a lot better too. Forgot to say I was poop trained once too, so could possibly revisit that!
