Rosa fue encontrada casi sin vida al lado de la carretera en las montañas Serra da Estrela, con temperaturas a –2°C. Congelada, hambrienta y muy deshidratada, fue rescatada por un ángel guardián que la llevó directamente al veterinario. Una vez calentada y ofrecida comida, Rosa comió ansiosamente, apenas esperando a que se colocara en un tazón. A tan solo 6-7 semanas de edad, Rosa también sufría pérdida de pelo causada por sarna. Afortunadamente, no era de tipo contagioso, y con tratamiento oportuno su pelo ya ha comenzado a crecer de nuevo, aunque su piel necesitará un poco más de tiempo para sanar por completo. Se espera que Rosa alcance los 15-17 kg cuando esté completamente crecida. A pesar de su difícil comienzo en la vida, es increíblemente cariñosa y resistente. Adora a las personas, disfruta jugando con otros perros y recientemente ha descubierto lo divertidos que pueden ser los juguetes. También está contenta en sentarse y observar el mundo que la rodea. rosa está haciendo muy bien en aprender a caminar con correa. Rosa actualmente está en un hogar de acogida, donde recibió la atención intensiva que necesitaba para recuperarse. Ahora es lo suficientemente saludable como para ser adoptada y lista para florecer en un hogar permanente. Es una chica feliz y social que beneficiaría de un entrenamiento continuo y orientación de parte de una familia con experiencia previa con perros. Rosa tiene chip electrónico y está al día con las vacunas.

Rosa was found almost lifeless by the side of the road in the Serra da Estrela mountains, with temperatures at –2°C. Freezing, starving, and severely dehydrated, she was rescued by a guardian angel who rushed her straight to the vet. Once warmed and offered food, Rosa ate eagerly—barely waiting for it to be placed in a bowl. At just 6–7 weeks old, Rosa was also suffering from fur loss caused by mange. Thankfully, it was not the contagious type, and with prompt treatment her fur has already begun to grow back, although her skin will need a little more time to fully heal. Rosa is expected to reach 15–17kg when fully grown. Despite her traumatic start in life, she is incredibly loving and resilient. She adores people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has recently discovered how fun toys can be. She’s also content to sit and observe the world around her. rosa is doing really well in learning how to walk on lead. Rosa is currently in a foster home, where she received the intensive care she needed to recover. She is now healthy enough to be adopted and ready to flourish in a forever home. She is a happy, social girl who would benefit from continued training and guidance from a family with previous dog experience. Rosa is microchipped and up to date with vaccinations.
