Rosa è stata trovata quasi priva di vita accanto alla strada nelle montagne Serra da Estrela, con temperature a –2°C. Gelata, affamata e gravemente disidratata, è stata salvata da un angelo custode che l'ha portata subito dal veterinario. Una volta riscaldata e offerta cibo, Rosa ha mangiato con entusiasmo - quasi non aspettando che fosse messo in una ciotola. A soli 6-7 settimane, Rosa soffriva anche di perdita di pelo causata dalla scabbia. Fortunatamente non era la forma contagiosa, e con un trattamento tempestivo il suo pelo è già ricominciato a crescere, sebbene la sua pelle abbia bisogno di un po' più di tempo per guarire completamente. Si prevede che Rosa raggiungerà i 15-17 kg quando sarà adulta. Nonostante il traumatico inizio della sua vita, è estremamente amabile e resiliente. Adora le persone, gode del gioco con altri cani e ha recentemente scoperto quanto siano divertenti i giochi. È anche contenta di sedersi e osservare il mondo intorno a lei. rosa sta facendo molto bene nell'apprendere a camminare al guinzaglio. Rosa si trova attualmente in una famiglia di accoglienza, dove ha ricevuto le cure intensive necessarie per recuperare. Ora è abbastanza sana da essere adottata e pronta a svilupparsi in una casa per sempre. È una ragazza felice e sociale che trarrebbe vantaggio da un continuo addestramento e guida da parte di una famiglia con esperienza precedente con i cani. Rosa è identificata con il microchip e aggiornata sulle vaccinazioni.

Rosa was found almost lifeless by the side of the road in the Serra da Estrela mountains, with temperatures at –2°C. Freezing, starving, and severely dehydrated, she was rescued by a guardian angel who rushed her straight to the vet. Once warmed and offered food, Rosa ate eagerly—barely waiting for it to be placed in a bowl. At just 6–7 weeks old, Rosa was also suffering from fur loss caused by mange. Thankfully, it was not the contagious type, and with prompt treatment her fur has already begun to grow back, although her skin will need a little more time to fully heal. Rosa is expected to reach 15–17kg when fully grown. Despite her traumatic start in life, she is incredibly loving and resilient. She adores people, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has recently discovered how fun toys can be. She’s also content to sit and observe the world around her. rosa is doing really well in learning how to walk on lead. Rosa is currently in a foster home, where she received the intensive care she needed to recover. She is now healthy enough to be adopted and ready to flourish in a forever home. She is a happy, social girl who would benefit from continued training and guidance from a family with previous dog experience. Rosa is microchipped and up to date with vaccinations.
