Misty es uno de los tres cachorros que fueron descubiertos viviendo en los campos con su madre abandonada. La familia fue visitada y alimentada regularmente por una señora que vive localmente hasta que se encontrara un hogar para la madre. En ese momento, los tres cachorros llegaron a Adoption Dogs Portugal. Según su tamaño actual y el de su madre, ella permanecerá un perro pequeño de menos de 10 kg cuando esté completamente crecida. Al principio, los cachorros eran extremadamente tímidos, tenían miedo del contacto humano y estaban cubiertos de garrapatas y pulgas, pero desde entonces han prosperado con cuidado y atención. El único varón de la familia, Monty, ya ha sido adoptado y ha tenido una transición muy exitosa a la vida familiar. Misty ha sido tratada contra parásitos (internos/externos), microchipeada y ha comenzado su régimen de vacunas. Aunque le encanta jugar con otros perros, incluida su hermana Marnie, sigue siendo bastante tímida con las personas, y por esa razón buscamos un hogar tranquilo para ella, con personas que le permitan convertirse en más segura a su propio ritmo. Un perro mayor y amable en el hogar, que le guste jugar, sería una ventaja para ella. Sin embargo, Misty está definitivamente curiosa por las personas que reconoce y ahora aceptará un premio de la mano de alguien en quien confía.

Misty is one of a litter of three puppies that were discovered living in the fields with their abandoned mother. The family was regularly visited and fed by a lady living locally until a home could be found for the mother. At that point, the three puppies came to Adoption Dogs Portugal. Based on her size now, and the size of her mother, she will remain a small dog of under 10kg once fully grown. At first, the puppies were extremely shy, scared of human contact and covered in ticks and fleas, but they have since thrived with care and attention. The only boy of the family, Monty, has already been adopted and has made a very successful transition to family life. Misty has now been treated for parasites (internal/external), microchipped and started her vaccination regime. While she loves playing with other dogs, including her sister Marnie, she remains quite shy with humans, and for that reason, we are seeking a quiet home for her, with people who will allow her to become more confident at her own pace. An older gentle dog in the Home, that likes to play would be a bonus for her. However, Misty is definitely curious about people who she recognises and will now take a treat from the hand of someone she trusts.
