Antecedentes: Conoce a Shreddie (marrón) y Weetabix (beige), un par de gerbos machos vinculados. Llegaron a Raystede porque sus anteriores dueños no tenían suficiente tiempo. Son personajes tímidos pero están ganando confianza gradualmente con las personas y se están volviendo muy curiosos, especialmente en la hora de comer. Son movidos y rápidos, pero toleran el manejo durante cortos períodos de tiempo. Hogar ideal: Shreddie y Weetabix preferirían un hogar tranquilo que tenga experiencia con gerbos. Niños: Deben ser manipulados solo por adultos experimentados/jóvenes mayores, ya que Weetabix puede ser un poco mordisqueador. Podrían vivir con niños o adolescentes tranquilos y mayores. Otros animales: Deben mantenerse separados de cualquier otro animal en el hogar. Shreddie y Weetabix buscan un hogar como pareja. Background: Meet Zebedee, a single, entire boar. Zebedee came to Raystede as he sadly lost his companion and his owners were moving abroad. He can be a little shy and timid but can always be easily bribed with tasty veg! We are sure that with the love and patience he deserves, he will find his confidence as he is already starting to venture out more and become exicted about veg! Home wanted: He is looking for companionship with another calm boar to bond with as we will not be neuetrtering him due to his age. A pair will require a minimum enclosure of at least 10.5 square feet of unbroken space on one level. They must have plenty of unrestricted hay and a variety of enrichment. He would like to be homed indoors all year around with supervised access to a suitable run on warmer summer days. He is looking for a calm home willing to provide the time and patience he needs to come out of his shell. Children: Zebedee would prefer to go to a home with adults/older teens. He can be a little nervous at times so must not be surrounded by loud noises and should only be handled by the adults in the home. Other animals: Will need to be kept separate from other pets in the home. Additional needs: Boys need regular maintenance of their grease glands and checking for impaction. Looking for a dedicated and committed forever home, ready to give him lots of attention and fuss.
