Fue parte de una familia de perros callejeros que alimentábamos diariamente, y era el padre de una camada vulnerable. Cuando los aldeanos comenzaron a envenenar a los perros callejeros, actuamos rápidamente. Aunque lamentablemente no pudimos salvarlos a todos, logramos rescatar a Dex y a su único cachorro superviviente, Benny. Desde el momento en que llegó a nuestro cuidado, la fuerza y la resistencia de Dex quedaron claras. Las pruebas revelaron laringitis, que actualmente está siendo tratada. Está cerca de recuperarse por completo y estará listo para viajar una vez que sus resultados sean claros. Rescatado en mayo de 2025, Dex ha estado floreciendo bajo el cuidado de sus cuidadores dedicados. Con sesiones regulares de entrenamiento, estructura y apoyo constante, ha hecho un excelente progreso. A medida que comenzó a sentirse seguro, Dex empezó a jugar como un cachorro, finalmente libre para relajarse y disfrutar de la vida. Once part of a family of street dogs we fed daily, Dex was the father of a vulnerable litter. When local villagers began poisoning street dogs, we acted quickly. While we sadly couldn’t save them all, we managed to rescue Dex and his only surviving pup, Benny . From the moment he arrived in our care, Dex’s strength and resilience were clear. Testing revealed heartworm, which is currently being treated. He is nearing full recovery and will be ready to travel once his results are clear. Rescued in May 2025, Dex has been thriving under the care of his dedicated handlers. With regular training sessions, structure, and consistent support, he has made wonderful progress. As he began to feel safe, Dex started playing like a puppy, finally free to relax and enjoy life. His affectionate and clever nature is shining through more each day and his training continues to develop week by week. By the time he is adopted, Dex will be even more confident and prepared for his next chapter. Dex is a true working-line German Shepherd: intelligent, loyal and deeply devoted to his people. He has natural guarding instincts and takes his role seriously, making him a reliable protector of the home.
