Elisa llegó en muy mal estado, con bajo peso y necesitaba cirugía, pero ha tenido una excelente recuperación. Ahora está saludable, más fuerte y lista para la adopción. Revise las fotos para ver su transformación. Elisa es un perro cariñoso y orientado a las personas que disfruta de la compañía humana y busca activamente atención y abrazos. Puede ser sensible en situaciones nuevas y necesita tiempo para sentirse segura, pero una vez que confía en ti, es cálida y tiene un fuerte vínculo con su persona. En paseos, se siente más cómoda quedándose ligeramente detrás de un grupo donde se siente segura pero aún incluida. Aún no es completamente segura en el mundo exterior y puede volverse vocal o reactiva cuando se siente insegura alrededor de otros perros. Esto es basado en miedo, no en agresión, y suele calmarse rápidamente una vez que la situación haya pasado. No es un primer perro y tendrá mejor resultado con un adoptante experimentado que comprenda a los perros sensibles e inseguros y pueda leer sus señales con calma y consistencia. Necesita un hogar estable y paciente que le permita seguir construyendo confianza a su propio ritmo. Elisa arrived in very poor condition, underweight and needing surgery, but has made an excellent recovery. She is now healthy, stronger, and ready for adoption. Look through the photos to see the glow up! Elisa is an affectionate, people-oriented dog who enjoys human company and actively seeks attention and cuddles. She can be sensitive in new situations and needs time to feel safe, but once she trusts you, she is warm and strongly bonded to her person. On walks, she is most comfortable staying slightly behind a group where she feels secure but still included. She is not fully confident in the wider world yet and can become vocal or reactive when she feels unsure around other dogs. This is fear-based rather than aggression, and she often settles quickly once the situation has passed. She is not a first-time dog and will do best with an experienced adopter who understands sensitive, insecure dogs and can read her signals calmly and consistently. She needs a stable, patient home that will allow her to continue building confidence at her own pace. With the right guidance and understanding, Elisa has all the potential to become a loyal, loving companion who blossoms in a calm and secure home.
