Elisa est arrivée dans un très mauvais état, sous-poids et nécessitant une opération, mais elle a fait une excellente récupération. Elle est maintenant en bonne santé, plus forte et prête pour l'adoption. Regardez les photos pour voir sa transformation ! Elisa est un chien affectueux, orienté vers les personnes, qui apprécie la compagnie humaine et cherche activement l'attention et les câlin. Elle peut être sensible dans les nouvelles situations et a besoin de temps pour se sentir en sécurité, mais une fois qu'elle fait confiance à quelqu'un, elle est chaleureuse et fortement attachée à son personne. Pendant les promenades, elle est le plus à l'aise en restant légèrement derrière un groupe où elle se sent en sécurité mais tout de même incluse. Elle n'est pas encore pleinement confiante dans le monde extérieur et peut devenir bruyante ou réactive lorsqu'elle se sent incertaine autour d'autres chiens. Cela est basé sur la peur plutôt que sur l'agressivité, et elle se calme souvent rapidement une fois la situation passée. Ce n'est pas un premier chien et ira mieux avec un adoptant expérimenté qui comprend les chiens sensibles et peu confiants et qui sait lire ses signaux calmement et de façon constante. Elle a besoin d'un foyer stable et patient qui lui permettra de continuer à construire sa confiance à son propre rythme. Avec la bonne guidance et compréhension, Elisa a tout le potentiel pour devenir un compagnon fidèle et aimant qui s'épanouit dans un foyer calme et sécurisant. Elisa arrived in very poor condition, underweight and needing surgery, but has made an excellent recovery. She is now healthy, stronger, and ready for adoption. Look through the photos to see the glow up! Elisa is an affectionate, people-oriented dog who enjoys human company and actively seeks attention and cuddles. She can be sensitive in new situations and needs time to feel safe, but once she trusts you, she is warm and strongly bonded to her person. On walks, she is most comfortable staying slightly behind a group where she feels secure but still included. She is not fully confident in the wider world yet and can become vocal or reactive when she feels unsure around other dogs. This is fear-based rather than aggression, and she often settles quickly once the situation has passed. She is not a first-time dog and will do best with an experienced adopter who understands sensitive, insecure dogs and can read her signals calmly and consistently. She needs a stable, patient home that will allow her to continue building confidence at her own pace. With the right guidance and understanding, Elisa has all the potential to become a loyal, loving companion who blossoms in a calm and secure home.
