Actualización 26.05.2025: Melvin es el último de los cachorros de Harper que aún está esperando en el refugio y, al igual que su mamá, espera encontrar su hogar para siempre. Por qué aún no ha sido adoptado es algo que nunca entenderemos. Melvin puede ser pequeño en tamaño - sólo 11 kg y 30 cm de alto - pero tiene un carácter que llena la habitación. Tiene unos 1 año y 8 meses (nació en septiembre de 2023) y ha estado con nosotros desde que era un cachorro recién nacido. Si alguna vez has visitado el refugio, seguramente has conocido a nuestro Melvin. Siempre está cerca, buscando cariño y besos. El pequeño Melvin es un tipo divertido, ya sea en medio de la acción o simplemente feliz tomando una siesta al sol o, mejor aún, en tu regazo. Su hora favorita del día es cuando los voluntarios o visitantes le demuestren amor y atención, algo de lo que nunca se satura. Melvin es muy sociable con otros perros y disfruta jugando y corriendo con ellos en el patio y en el área de juegos. Si buscas un compañero pequeño pero activo, afectuoso, fiel y siempre dispuesto a complacer, Melvin podría ser tu pareja perfecta. Ya sea jugando en el área de juegos del refugio, relajándose en las piscinas, o saltando a los regazos de los voluntarios y visitantes cada vez que tiene la oportunidad, Melvin aprovecha al máximo cada oportunidad. Update 26.05.2025: Melvin is the last of Harper’s puppies still waiting at the shelter and just like his mom, he’s hoping to find his forever home. Why he hasn’t been adopted yet is something we’ll never understand. Melvin may be small in size – just 11 kg and 30 cm tall – but he has a personality that fills the room! He’s about 1 year and 8 months old (born in September 2023) and has been with us since he was just a tiny pup. If you’ve ever visited the shelter, you have definitely met our Melvin! He’s always nearby, looking for cuddles and kisses. Little Melvin is a funny fella, either in the middle of the action or just happy to nap in the sun or preferably in your lap. His favorite time of day? When volunteers or visitors shower him with love and affection – something he can’t get enough of. Melvin is very social with other dogs and enjoys playing and running with them in the yard and on the playground. If you’re looking for a small but lively companion who’s affectionate, loyal and always eager to please, Melvin could be your perfect match.
