Chandler, hieno, lojaali, poika GSOH haluaisi tapahtaa jotain 'ystäviä' ikuiseen uskollisuuteen. Kokematon vapaaehtoinen Leigh yhdistyi uusiin kulkijoihin tällä viikolla, tässä hän kuvaa kokemuksiaan Chandlerin ja hänen ystäviensä kanssa. ''Chandler jakaa kotelonsa Max (koirarotuksen) ja Ranger (GSD:n) kanssa. Kaikki kolme ovat erittäin innostuneita siitä, että he saavat kävellä. Ensin minä, ei minä... hyppäämään toisiinsa. Kävelyllä Max jatkaa innostustaan, hieman reaktiivinen muihin koiriin, jotka eivät kuulu hänen porukkaansa. Chandler taas oli iloinen vain rauhallisesti kävelemässä, hän teki hyvää hajua. Hän käveli tänään uuden vapaaehtoisen kanssa ja hänen käytöksestään oli erittäin hyvä. Ranger GSD käveli myös hyvin uuden vapaaehtoisen kanssa, hän oli todella vaikuttunut hänen rauhallisuudestaan.'' CHANDLER — MR GREY… THE BOY EVERYONE SEEMS TO OVERLOOK There’s always one. The one who watches other dogs arrive… then watches them leave. The one who has seen countless kennel mates come and go, while he remains behind. That boy is Chandler. And perhaps we know why people pass him by. He’s a big boy. He’s male. And he’s dark in colour. But honestly… are we really going to let something as simple as colour, size or gender decide Chandler’s future? Because behind that ‘grey’ coat is a boy with a huge heart. Denise says Chandler is very loving and affectionate and, when you spend time with him, he really doesn’t want you to leave him behind in his kennel. And Chandler is also very good with other dogs. His current kennel mate can bark and lunge when she sees other dogs, yet somehow she happily shares her space with Chandler. He takes it all in his stride. Totally calming. After years at the kennels, Chandler deserves to finally know what it feels like to be someone’s special boy. Not the dog people walk past. Not the dog who is always waiting.
