Chandler, bello, fedele, ragazzone con GSOH adorerebbe conoscere alcuni "amici" per una devota dedizione per sempre. La volontaria esperta Leigh ha fatto compagnia a nuovi accompagnatori questa settimana, ecco come descrive la loro esperienza con Chandler e i suoi amici. «Chandler condivide la gabbia con Max (cucciolo di collie) e Ranger (GSD). Tutti e tre sono molto entusiasti di uscire per le passeggiate. Prima io, no, io... saltando l'uno sull'altro. Durante la passeggiata Max continua il suo entusiasmo, reattivo un po' agli altri cani non facenti parte del suo branco. Tuttavia Chandler era contento semplicemente a camminare, annusando bene. Ha camminato oggi con una nuova volontaria e si è comportato davvero molto bene. Ranger il GSD ha anche camminato bene con una nuova volontaria, lei era veramente impressionata della sua calma». CHANDLER — MR GREY… THE BOY EVERYONE SEEMS TO OVERLOOK There’s always one. The one who watches other dogs arrive… then watches them leave. The one who has seen countless kennel mates come and go, while he remains behind. That boy is Chandler. And perhaps we know why people pass him by. He’s a big boy. He’s male. And he’s dark in colour. But honestly… are we really going to let something as simple as colour, size or gender decide Chandler’s future? Because behind that ‘grey’ coat is a boy with a huge heart. Denise says Chandler is very loving and affectionate and, when you spend time with him, he really doesn’t want you to leave him behind in his kennel. And Chandler is also very good with other dogs. His current kennel mate can bark and lunge when she sees other dogs, yet somehow she happily shares her space with Chandler. He takes it all in his stride. Totally calming. After years at the kennels, Chandler deserves to finally know what it feels like to be someone’s special boy. Not the dog people walk past. Not the dog who is always waiting.
