Tapasztalt önkéntes Leigh ezen a héten új sétálokhoz társult, itt beszámol a tapasztalatairól Chandler és barátaival. „Chandler egy ketrecben él Max (kutyakeresztező) és Ranger (GSD) együtt. Mindhárman nagyon izgatottan várják a sétáikat. Először én, nem én… egymásra ugrálnak. A sétán Max továbbra is izgatott, kissé reaktív más kutyákra, amelyek nem a csapatához tartoznak. Chandler viszont boldogan lassan sétált, jó szaglászás közben. Ma új önkéntessel sétált, és viselkedése rendkívül jónak bizonyult. A GSD Ranger is jól sétált új önkéntessel, aki nagyon meglepődött a nyugalmáról.” Úgy tűnik, nagyszerű barát lesz. Legyél a Joey, Ross vagy Monica? Szívesen tájékoztatunk bővebben. Chandler műtétes. CHANDLER — MR GREY… THE BOY EVERYONE SEEMS TO OVERLOOK There’s always one. The one who watches other dogs arrive… then watches them leave. The one who has seen countless kennel mates come and go, while he remains behind. That boy is Chandler. And perhaps we know why people pass him by. He’s a big boy. He’s male. And he’s dark in colour. But honestly… are we really going to let something as simple as colour, size or gender decide Chandler’s future? Because behind that ‘grey’ coat is a boy with a huge heart. Denise says Chandler is very loving and affectionate and, when you spend time with him, he really doesn’t want you to leave him behind in his kennel. And Chandler is also very good with other dogs. His current kennel mate can bark and lunge when she sees other dogs, yet somehow she happily shares her space with Chandler. He takes it all in his stride. Totally calming. After years at the kennels, Chandler deserves to finally know what it feels like to be someone’s special boy. Not the dog people walk past. Not the dog who is always waiting.
