Roxy on niin mukava tyttö, joka rakastaa olla yhdessä ihmisten kanssa ja tästä syystä tarvitsee henkilöä, jolla on pieni jättöaika ja jotka haluavat hitaasti rakentaa yhteyksiä. Hän etsii hiljaista kotia, missä hän voi nauttia hienoista kävelyistään ennen kuin hän sulkeutuu omien ihmisten kanssa katsomaan suosikkitelevisio-ohjelmiaan (hän on suuri Game of Thrones -fani... älä ala häntä puhumaan lopusta). Roxy voi olla hieman pelokas uusien ihmisten kanssa aluksi, mutta lämpenee pian, jos tarjotaan makuista ruokaa! Roxy on ihan ihana pelurinäytös - hän ansaitsee todellisen kotirakennuksen, jonka hän voi kutsua omakseen. Roxy on 6-vuotias bulldog-risteys, jolla on paljon rohkeutta ja etsii omaa kotiaan. Koska hän rakastaa kaikkea huomiota itsestään, hän haluaisi olla ainoa koira kotona, mutta hän opiskelee koirasosiaalisuutta hoitajien kanssa ja nauttii rauhallisista ystävistä käydystä yhdessä kävelyistä. Roxy etsii aktiivista perhintä, joka auttaa häntä tekemään lisätehtäviä ja ottaa hänet ulos hienoihin haju- kävelyihin – hän rakastaa myös hyvää juoksuutta suljetussa kentässä monin leluineen pelaamiseen (jalkapallo on hänen suosikkinsä)!

Roxy is a big fan of water and loves splashing around in a river, or better yet, chasing a ball into the river is her idea of a perfect outing! She can be a little ball obsessed, but we absolutely love watching her chase them across a field, always bringing them back to your feet for the fun to continue. Building a bond with Roxy is certainly a bond for life, as she showers those she loves with endless affection, happily snoozing beside you when the day is done. She would like a reasonably active home where she can play until her hearts content, have some nice sniffy walks in quieter places and continue to build her confidence in all areas of life. She's a very smart girl and loves to learn new things, especially if there is a tasty treat on offer! She is a true gem for a bully lover who has the patience and time to give her the life she deserves! Roxy is a 6 year old Bulldog Cross who has stolen the hearts of many people here at the center! She is a super affectionate and playful girl looking for a home where she can be taken on nice, quiet adventures followed by a delightful snooze on the sofa. Roxy could live with teenagers who are comfortable around bigger dogs, as she can jump up to say hello and loves to give kisses. Roxy can be worried by strange dogs and cannot currently live with another dog, but she has come on leaps and bounds with her dog social skills and can make calm dog friends out and about. Roxy would prefer a calm household as she can be worried by strangers, because she wasn't always treated very well in the past, however with a calm and positive approach, she is very capable of making plenty of human friends. She will need owners who can advocate for her needs when out in public, so that she can continue to build her confidence and skills in this area. Roxy does love her people and would prefer for them to be home a lot of the time, however she is capable of being left for a few hours.
