Roxy to bardzo miła dziewczyna, która uwielbia spędzać czas z ludźmi i z tego powodu potrzebuje kogoś z niskimi godzinami wyjazdu, kto będzie szczęśliwy w powolnym budowaniu relacji. Szuka cichego domu, gdzie może cieszyć się swoimi przyjemnymi spacerami, a potem przytulić się do swoich ludzi i patrzeć na ulubione programy telewizyjne (jest wielką fanatką Gry o Tron... nie zaczynaj jej o końcowym). Roxy może być trochę zmieszana podczas pierwszego spotkania z nowymi osobami, ale szybko się rozgrzewa, gdy oferuje się jej smaczny przekąsek! Z powodu miłości do wszystkiego uwagi dla siebie, preferuje być jedynym psem w domu, ale rozwija umiejętności społecznościowe z opiekunami i cieszy się spacerami równoległymi z spokojnymi przyjaciółmi. Roxy chce mieszkać z starszymi dziećmi, które są przyzwyczajone do dużych ras, ponieważ jest to miła, przytulna dziewczyna, która ma tyle miłości do dawania swoim ludziom – udziela najlepszych objęć i lubi położyć duży pocałunek na Twoim policzku! Roxy is a big fan of water and loves splashing around in a river, or better yet, chasing a ball into the river is her idea of a perfect outing! She can be a little ball obsessed, but we absolutely love watching her chase them across a field, always bringing them back to your feet for the fun to continue. Building a bond with Roxy is certainly a bond for life, as she showers those she loves with endless affection, happily snoozing beside you when the day is done. She would like a reasonably active home where she can play until her hearts content, have some nice sniffy walks in quieter places and continue to build her confidence in all areas of life. She's a very smart girl and loves to learn new things, especially if there is a tasty treat on offer! She is a true gem for a bully lover who has the patience and time to give her the life she deserves! Roxy is a 6 year old Bulldog Cross who has stolen the hearts of many people here at the center! She is a super affectionate and playful girl looking for a home where she can be taken on nice, quiet adventures followed by a delightful snooze on the sofa. Roxy could live with teenagers who are comfortable around bigger dogs, as she can jump up to say hello and loves to give kisses. Roxy can be worried by strange dogs and cannot currently live with another dog, but she has come on leaps and bounds with her dog social skills and can make calm dog friends out and about. Roxy would prefer a calm household as she can be worried by strangers, because she wasn't always treated very well in the past, however with a calm and positive approach, she is very capable of making plenty of human friends. She will need owners who can advocate for her needs when out in public, so that she can continue to build her confidence and skills in this area. Roxy does love her people and would prefer for them to be home a lot of the time, however she is capable of being left for a few hours.
