Roxy is zo'n lief meisje die graag met haar mensen is en daarom iemand nodig heeft met weinig vertrektijden die blij is om langzaam vertrouwen op te bouwen. Ze zoekt een rustig thuis waar ze haar fijne wandelingen kan genieten voordat ze zich kruipend tegen haar mensen aanlegt om haar favoriete tv-shows te bekijken (ze is een grote fan van Game of Thrones... laat haar niet beginnen over het eind). Roxy kan een beetje zenuwachtig zijn bij het ontmoeten van nieuwe mensen, maar warmt snel op met een lekkere smakelijke traktatie! Roxy is een knaller van plezier – ze verdient zeker een eeuwig thuis dat van haar is. Roxy is een 6-jarige Bulldog Cross met veel moed die op zoek is naar haar eeuwige huis! Vanwege haar liefde voor alle aandacht voor zichzelf zou ze liever de enige hond in het huis zijn, maar ze werkt aan haar hondjes sociaal vaardigheden met haar verzorgers en geniet van paralelle wandelingen met rustige vrienden. Roxy wil graag leven met oudere kinderen die gewend zijn aan grote rassen, want ze is een liefdevol knuffelmeisje dat zoveel liefde heeft om te geven – ze geeft de beste knuffels en houdt er ook van om je een grote kus recht op je wang te geven! Ze zoekt een actief gezin dat haar helpt met enrichement en haar meeneemt op fijne reukwandelingen – ze houdt ook van een goed sprintje in een afgesloten veld met veel speelgoed om mee te spelen (een voetbal is haar favoriet)!

Roxy is a big fan of water and loves splashing around in a river, or better yet, chasing a ball into the river is her idea of a perfect outing! She can be a little ball obsessed, but we absolutely love watching her chase them across a field, always bringing them back to your feet for the fun to continue. Building a bond with Roxy is certainly a bond for life, as she showers those she loves with endless affection, happily snoozing beside you when the day is done. She would like a reasonably active home where she can play until her hearts content, have some nice sniffy walks in quieter places and continue to build her confidence in all areas of life. She's a very smart girl and loves to learn new things, especially if there is a tasty treat on offer! She is a true gem for a bully lover who has the patience and time to give her the life she deserves! Roxy is a 6 year old Bulldog Cross who has stolen the hearts of many people here at the center! She is a super affectionate and playful girl looking for a home where she can be taken on nice, quiet adventures followed by a delightful snooze on the sofa. Roxy could live with teenagers who are comfortable around bigger dogs, as she can jump up to say hello and loves to give kisses. Roxy can be worried by strange dogs and cannot currently live with another dog, but she has come on leaps and bounds with her dog social skills and can make calm dog friends out and about. Roxy would prefer a calm household as she can be worried by strangers, because she wasn't always treated very well in the past, however with a calm and positive approach, she is very capable of making plenty of human friends. She will need owners who can advocate for her needs when out in public, so that she can continue to build her confidence and skills in this area. Roxy does love her people and would prefer for them to be home a lot of the time, however she is capable of being left for a few hours.
