Rencontrez Caramello, un jeune Podenco magnifique aux couleurs chocolat et fauve douces et un cœur tout aussi doux. Sauvé d'un site industriel où il avait vécu seul. Lorsqu'il est arrivé à notre refuge partenaire, Caramello avait environ un an et était complètement submergé par son nouvel environnement. Pendant un moment, il s'est complètement fermé et avait trop peur pour quitter sa cage. Avec de la patience et des encouragements doux, Caramello a commencé à s'épanouir. Il apprécie maintenant d'explorer à son rythme et trouve un grand réconfort auprès de chiens calmes et amicaux. Il adore la compagnie canine et s'épanouit lorsqu'il a un autre chien à suivre et à apprendre. Caramello s'épanouira dans un foyer calme et patient, avec des personnes qui comprennent que la confiance prend du temps. Un chien résident confiant serait un énorme avantage pour lui, l'aiderait à continuer son parcours de jeune effrayé à compagnon sûr et aimant. Un environnement plus calme avec un jardin aiderait également Caramello à s'adapter à la vie en famille. Ce joli garçon a déjà surmonté beaucoup. Maintenant, il est prêt pour un foyer où il pourra continuer à grandir, à son rythme. Regarder et aider un podenco timide à gagner en confiance peut être une expérience très enrichissante, et Caramello est exactement ce genre d'âme - doux, sensible et plein de potentiel. Meet Caramello, a beautiful young Podenco with soft chocolate and fawn colouring and an even softer heart. Rescued from an industrial estate where he had been surviving alone. When he first arrived at our partner shelter, Caramello was around a year old and utterly overwelmed by his new surroundings. For a time he shut down completely and was too frightened to leave his kennel. With patience and gentle encouragement Caramello has begun to blossom. He now enjoys exploring at his own pace and takes great comfort from calm, friendly dogs around him, He adores canine companionship and thrives when he has another dog to follow and learn from. Caramello will flourish in a calm, patient home wiht people who understand that trust takes time. A confident resident dog would be a huge benefit to him, helping him continue his journey from frightened youngster to secure, loving companion. A quieter environment with a garden would also help him to settle into home life. This lovely boy has overcome so much already. Now he’s ready for a home where he can continue to grow, at his own pace. Watching and helping a nervous podenco grow in confidence can be such a rewarding experience, and Caramello is exactly that kind of soul - gentle, sensitive and full of potential.
