Dexter a été trouvé attaché à la clôture du refuge l'année dernière. Il a environ 2 ans et s'est révélé être un jeune homme doux et sympathique qui aime l'activité et est le plus heureux lorsqu'il explore le monde. Il conviendrait d'une maison active où il pourra être avec quelqu'un qui aime faire de longues promenades plutôt que de courtes promenades. Amical et joueur, il peut facilement être adopté avec un autre chien ou plusieurs chiens. Dexter est un peu un escamoteur en raison de sa nature curieuse et intelligente, donc il aura besoin d'une maison avec une clôture solide ! Ce n'est pas parce qu'il est méchant mais parce qu'il doit encore apprendre certaines limites sur où et quand il peut explorer. Il bénéficierait d'un entraînement positif afin qu'il comprenne ce qui est attendu de lui et pour tirer le meilleur parti de ce chien très intelligent. Dans la bonne maison - active, sécurisée et avec un propriétaire disposé à le guider, il sera un merveilleux compagnon qui apportera beaucoup de plaisir... il est stérilisé, pucé et vacciné, pesant environ 17 kg et mesurant 43 cm à l'épaule. Dexter was found tied to the shelter fence last year. He is around 2 years of age and has proved to be a sweet natured and friendly boy who thrives on activity and is happiest when he is out exploring the world. He would suit an active home where he can be with someone who likes to be out and about on long walks rather than short strolls. Friendly and playful he can easily be homed with another dog or dogs. Dexter is a bit of an escapologist due to his enquiring and clever nature so he will need a home with secure fencing! Not because he is naughty but because he still needs to learn some boundaries of where and when he can go exploring. He would benefit from some positive training so that he can understand what is expected of him and to get the best out of this highly intelligent dog. In the right home – active, secure and with an owner willing to guide him he will be a wonderful companion who will give many hours of fun… he is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated, weighing around 17kgs and measuring 43cm to the shoulder.
