Dexter was found tied to the shelter fence last year. He is around 2 years of age and has proved to be a sweet natured and friendly boy who thrives on activity and is happiest when he is out exploring the world. He would suit an active home where he can be with someone who likes to be out and about on long walks rather than short strolls. Friendly and playful he can easily be homed with another dog or dogs. Dexter is a bit of an escapologist due to his enquiring and clever nature so he will need a home with secure fencing! Not because he is naughty but because he still needs to learn some boundaries of where and when he can go exploring. He would benefit from some positive training so that he can understand what is expected of him and to get the best out of this highly intelligent dog. In the right home – active, secure and with an owner willing to guide him he will be a wonderful companion who will give many hours of fun… he is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated, weighing around 17kgs and measuring 43cm to the shoulder.
