Il avait été dans sa cage pendant 12 ans et pendant son temps, il a développé une grosse masse. Une fois que nous avons décidé de l'adopter, ils ont opéré. Malheureusement (mais pas surprenant), l'opération a été infructueuse, et il a dû être recousu avec sa masse. Nous n'étions pas certains pourquoi ils ont choisi de le faire maintenant à son âge de 14 ans. Cependant, le point important est qu'il se remet et est heureux. Il l'est, il agit comme un petit chien et est très excité. Lumpy terminera son traitement antibiotique au cours des prochains jours, et nous continuerons à augmenter son exercice et son intégration dans le groupe de la finca jusqu'à ce qu'ils puissent enfin profiter de leurs jours avec les bénévoles et les autres anciens Mac et Lio.

He had been inside his cage for 12 years and during his time grew a huge mass. Once we decided to adopt him they operated on it. Unfortunately (but not surprisingly) the operation was unsuccessful and he had to be sewn back up with his mass. We were unsure why they chose to do it now at his age of 14. However the important point is that he is recovering and happy. That he is, he acts like a puppy and is very excited. Lumpy will finish his cause of antibiotics over the next couple of days and we will continue to increase their exercise and integration to the finca pack until hopefully they can be free to enjoy their days with the volunteers and the other oldies Mac and Lio.
