Storm cherche un foyer avec des adoptants actifs qui pourront l'emmener faire des promenades tranquilles ou des courses dans un champ privé, une famille pour l'aider à continuer son entraînement et sa confiance lors de la socialisation avec d'autres chiens. Il pourrait vivre avec des enfants âgés de licence / terminale qui sont confiants avec un grand chien, qui joueront gentiment avec lui et lui donneront de l'espace pour se reposer lorsqu'il en aura besoin. Storm trouve être proche d'autres chiens un peu inquiétant, donc il aimerait être le seul animal de compagnie dans le foyer afin qu'il ait toute l'attention et qu'il n'y ait pas de chiens voisins. Storm a quelques connaissances d'entraînement, il connaît son nom et fait un joli "assis", "allongé" et "reste". C'est un garçon intelligent mais occupé et facilement distrait, donc il pourrait s'engager dans un entraînement en courtes séances avec l'aide d'une bonne friandise pour l'encourager. Il suit actuellement un entraînement au morsure car il partira à la maison avec une laisse et un morsure. Il cherche un foyer avec un jardin privé sécurisé avec une clôture de 1,8 mètre pour qu'il puisse se balader et avoir du temps sans laisse. Storm peut être un peu inquiet lorsqu'on le laisse, il pourrait être seul pendant jusqu'à 1 à 2 heures, mais cela devra être progressivement augmenté une fois qu'il aura eu le temps de s'installer. Storm devra rencontrer ses adoptants plusieurs fois avant d'aller chez eux, avec la possibilité de visites à domicile pour s'assurer qu'il s'installe bien, veuillez donc en tenir compte lors de votre candidature. Veuillez noter que si vous êtes sélectionnés, notre processus d'adoption prend généralement jusqu'à 7 jours, et les futurs adoptants devront venir au centre pour rencontrer Storm dans les 48 heures suivant leur sélection. Beau et élégant, Storm est un croisé Doberman et Berger de 4 ans qui cherche un foyer affectueux. Il adore les jouets qui font du bruit, surtout les balles qui font du bruit, il fonce après eux s'ils sont lancés et les rapporte pour recommencer, il peut aussi jouer seul en bondissant sur la balle et en la frappant autour. Il peut être assez indépendant, mais viendra rapidement pour un rapide câlin avant de repartir, il aime les gratouilles. Ce charmant garçon est prêt à trouver son nouveau foyer.

Storm is looking for a home with active adopters who can take him for sniffy adventures in quiet walking areas, or for a run around in a private field, a family to keep up with his training. He could live with college/sixth form aged children who are confident around a large dog, who will play with him nicely and will give him space to rest when he needs. Storm can sometimes find being in close proximity to dogs a little worrying, so would like to be the only pet in the home so he can have all of the attention to himself and no neighbouring dogs, although he could have friendly and polite walking friends who will help him to continue growing his confidence around other dogs. Storm is a super clever guy and already has some training under his belt, he knows his name and does a lovely “sit”, “down” and “stay”, he is also currently doing muzzle training as he will be going home on a lead and muzzle disclaimer. He is looking for a home with a private, secure garden for him to potter about and have off lead time in. Storm can settle in the home as long as he has had a walk and has enrichment to keep him busy, he could be left alone for up to 1-4 hours, but this would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle in. Storm will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home with the potential for home visits to make sure he is settling in well, so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted. Super smart and handsome boy Storm is a 4 year old Shepherd cross Dobermann who loves to play and train new skills in equal measure. He is a sucker for a squeaky toy, especially a ball and adores a good zoom around, throwing the toy in the air, catching it and bounding around with it in his mouth. When out and about he is quite an independent and busy boy, exploring and sniffing everything he can find, he will approach when he fancies, but if you are sat on the sofa he will happily climb up beside you, or sometimes sploot out and nudge you out of the way for ultimate comfort. He loves a good scratch just behind the ears and he gets all wiggly and silly if you get the right spot. This gorgeous boy is ready to find his new home.
