Cisco érkezett a Hope For Podencos központba 2019-ben anyukájával, Belle Starral, aki higgyétek vagy ne, teljesen szabados podenco andaluz – nyilvánvalóan apja egy kicsit kevesebb paddy! Irene úgy érezte, hogy figyelmen kívül hagyják, ezért döntött úgy, hogy júliusban küldi őt a UK gondozóba az évben, nem sokkal azután, hogy bekerült a gondozóba, felfogadták. Sajnos, a gyerekek beérkezésével a házba, Cisco megküzdött a változással. Az edzés és viselkedéssel történő támogatás után a csapat és a fogadó kényelmetlen döntést hozott, hogy a környezetváltozás egyszerűen túl sok volt számára, és a legbarátságosabb, amit tenni tudtunk, hogy újra elhelyezzük. Úgy éreztük, egy reset a szakember gondozójával segíthetne egy valós képet kapni arról, mi történik vele, és mi kell neki továbbra is – ez neki világot jelentett, és most át lett helyezve egy gondozóba, ahol újra létrehozzák ezt. Cisco egy izgatott fiú lehet, és úgy érezzük, hogy egyedül élő kutyaként, vagy kisebb nyugodt kutyával együtt élve működne legjobban, mivel nagyobb kutyák mindkét nem esetén megrémíthetik. Nem a legjátékosabb kutya, de szívesen fut együtt bármely társával a kertben vagy biztos mezőn. Aztán sikerült igazán összebarátkoznia a emberekkel mindkét gondozó otthonban – bár még mindig kissé visszafogott lehet a gondozóapjával, de ha biztosítják, szívesen ölelődik mindenhez! Nagyon kíváncsi és szeretetteljes volt a csapattal, amikor találkoztak a gondozóban. Alacsony energiaú kutya, aki szeret kényelmesen ülni a kanapén, és szeret ölelkezni! Cisco egy otthonra van szüksége, amelyben nincsenek gyermekek vagy macskák, hogy a stimulációs szintje ott maradjon, ahol ismerjük, hogy jól működik, nyugodt és rendszeres, megjósolható környezetben – ez alapján jól elbánja Londoni életet. Jól sétál a csomagolószalagon, és az aggodalmait elveszítik, amikor biztos benne, hogy a gazdija kint van. Csak egy olyan szeretetteljes és szeretetteljes fiú, aki velük akar lenni és kedveli őket. Ugyanakkor hagyható néhány órára. Éhes és ez nagyban segít a képzésben és a kötődésben. Cisco sterilizált, védett és negatív lett a mediterrán betegségekre. Útleveles és most eladható. Cisco arrived at the Hope For Podencos centre back in 2019 with his mum Belle Star, who believe it or not is a full Podenco Andaluz - clearly dad a little less paddy! Irene felt he was being overlooked so made the decision to send him to UK foster in July of that year, not long after arriving in foster he was adopted. Sadly with the addition of children arriving in the home, Cisco has struggled to cope with the changes this has brought. After training and behaviour support the team and adopter made the difficult decision that the environment change was just too much for him and the kindest thing we could do was re-home him. We felt a reset with our specialist foster would give us a really clear picture of what is going on for him,and what he needs moving forward - this did him the world of good and he has now been moved to a foster that can re-create this for him. Cisco can be an anxious boy, and we feel that either a home as an only dog, or with a smaller calm dog would work best as he can find larger dogs of either sex intimidating. He is not the most playful dog, but will happily have a run alongside any companion in the garden or secure field. He has been able to really bond with the humans in both foster homes - although he can still be a little more shy with his foster dad he happily cuddles up to all once reassured! He was really curious and affectionate with the team when they met him in foster. He is a low energy dog that just loves to be lounging around on the sofa enjoying cuddles! Cisco needs a home with no children or cats, so that his stimulation levels can remain where we know they work best, nice and level with a very routine and predictable environment - that being said ha handles London life well. He walks beautifully on the lead and his anxieties drop away when he is confident with his human out and about. He is just such a loving and affectionate boy, he wants to be with people and made a fuss of. That being said he can be left for a few hours at a time. He is a foody and this has helped greatly with training and bonding. Cisco is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for all Mediterranean diseases. He is passported and available for adoption now.
