Badger è un incrocio di media taglia con circa due anni di età. Ha superato il test con i gatti. Può vivere con o senza altri cani. Bambini rispettosi di qualsiasi età. Badger è entrato nel nostro affidamento recentemente dal rifugio pubblico di Botosani in Romania. È arrivato lì lo scorso mese quando eravamo in visita, portato dai cacciatori di cani. Badger è un personaggio meraviglioso che si intende con tutti e tutto. È amichevole e affettuoso e si adatterebbe facilmente alla maggior parte delle case. Può vivere con o senza altri cani e va d'accordo con i gatti. Potrebbe vivere con bambini rispettosi di qualsiasi età. Badger ha avuto l'affido a Badersfield Norfolk Se sei interessato, invia un messaggio o chiama tra le 9:00 e le 17:00 da lunedì a venerdì o tra le 9:00 e le 16:00 sabato. Le tariffe delle donazioni per l'adozione sono: Cuccioli già sterilizzati e tutti i cani adulti: £430. Cuccioli non sterilizzati con contratti di sterilizzazione: £530 (riceverai un rimborso di £100 una volta che ci invierai la prova della sterilizzazione). Cani anziani (10+ anni): £150–£250 (in base all'età e alle esigenze individuali). Condizioni e termini di adozione Quando adotti un cane di Safe Rescue, DEVI utilizzare una guinzaglio a scatto. Questo terrà sicuro il tuo cane: il tuo nuovo cane sarà nervoso e non ti farà fiducia, e tu non saprai quali situazioni potrebbero agitare il tuo cane. Se il tuo cane si spaventa, allora un guinzaglio a scatto è l'unica via per evitare che il tuo cane scappi (molti cani possono scappare da collare e/o guinzaglio). Ci vorranno ALMENO 3-6 mesi perché il tuo cane si abitui e tu lo conosca pienamente (più tempo per i cani nervosi). Il guinzaglio a scatto deve essere sempre utilizzato durante questo periodo di abituazione. Anche dopo che il tuo cane si è abituato, è più sicuro utilizzare il guinzaglio a scatto in situazioni in cui il tuo cane potrebbe spaventarsi (ad esempio visitando luoghi nuovi, intorno a persone sconosciute, dal veterinario), e in situazioni in cui potrebbero verificarsi trigger imprevisti (ad esempio intorno alla notte dei fuochi d'artificio). I cani nervosi potrebbero dover indossare sempre un guinzaglio a scatto come misura di sicurezza aggiuntiva. Il guinzaglio a scatto è un dispositivo di sicurezza e mai deve essere utilizzato come strumento di addestramento. Utilizzare il guinzaglio per applicare pressione sul collo del cane è dannoso. Se il tuo cane tira il guinzaglio, possiamo consigliarti metodi di addestramento che evitino danni. Una volta che il tuo cane si è abituato, potresti considerare di utilizzare una pettorina (insieme al guinzaglio a scatto) se il cane è comodo con il contatto quando è fissata. Badger is a medium sized crossbreed aged around two years old. Passed cat testing. Can live with or without other dogs. Could live with respectful children aged ten plus. Badger originally into our care recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania. He arrived a couple of months ago and was swiftly adopted but has sadly been reluctantly returned due to his energy levels not matching the home environment. Badger is a brilliant character who gets on with everyone and everything. He is friendly and affectionate and a busy boy who wants to be involved in all the family goings on. He will need a decent level of exercise in his forever home and some basic training to channel his enthusiasm for jumping up. He can live with or without other dogs and is fine with cats. Adoption Donation Fees are Puppies already neutered and all adult dogs: £430. Un-neutered puppies on spay/neuter contracts: £530 (You will receive a £100 rebate once you send us proof of neutering). Senior dogs (10+ years): £150–£250 (depending on age and individual needs). Adoption Terms & Conditions When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). The slip lead must ALWAYS be used during this settling-in period. Even after your dog is settled, it is safest to use the slip lead in situations where your dog may become scared (e.g. visiting new places, around unfamiliar people, at the vet), and it situations where unexpected triggers might happen (e.g. around bonfire night). Nervous dogs may always need to wear a slip-lead as a back-up safety measure. The slip lead is a safety device and must NEVER be used as a training tool. Using the lead to apply pressure to the dog’s neck is damaging. If your dog pulls on the lead, then we can advise you on training methods that avoid harm. Once your dog is settled, you may want to consider using a harness (together with the slip lead) if your dog is comfortable with being handled when it is fitted. Most harnesses are not escape-proof, but harnesses with a strap behind the ribcage (e.g. Ruffwear Webmaster or Perfect Fit Harnesses) are safer. Retractable / extendable leads must never be used on our dogs. Adopted dogs must be collected from the rescue and transported straight home in a secure metal crate.
